5. 15 of the kids in my class are girls. 6 of the kids wear blue shirts. 4 of the kids are neither girls nor wear blue shirts. If 2 of kids are girls who wear blue shirts, how many people are in the class? 24 - 15 girls, 2 girls + wearing blue shirts, 4 boys + wearing blue shirts, 4 boys but no blue shirts, and one "me"
Why 24?
If the statement is by a girl then she has already counted herself in that 15 girls, then there is no need to add that extra 'one' for "me", that one will be added only when the statement is given by the boy or some other gender(that should be mentioned in the question if any)
In the question there was no mention whether the statement is given by a boy or a girl.
