My family doesn’t care they have always allowed us freedom to choose but sometimes it is a waste I totally agree.

Your sister did a smart move. I appreciate that. 😃

Thank you 😊

Maybe that’s why sometimes I don’t understand restrictions

I don't agree with the restrictions and controlling behaviour of parents in pak or Korean dramas but i understand them since i grew up in a similar cultural setup.

Scroll down at the bottom of the Pakistani tv serial forum. It's below all the Pakistani serial topics.

Through the years this forum gave me more in depth knowledge than anything else. My friends even ethnic ones are born and raised here so they are same as me. As we talked yesterday the worst discipline I ever got was no privileges for two days. I thought I had the meanest parents on the planet and didn’t talk to them for weeks. For me it was very harsh as there was never any punishment, ever.

Coming to shows Indian shows still show muffat FL whereas in PTV I only saw that mehwish character in dillagi who didn’t give a shit. For me arrange marriage is an alien concept. I can never imagine my parents telling me to marry someone, I would laugh and think they were joking. Even my grandparents were in love before marrying 😂😂 so when I hear mumma picked someone I don’t get it. I understand it’s cultural but I don’t get it. Same way the whole staying with someone even when they insult you I don’t get it. Of course education and financial support is necessary and many of these leads don’t have that but the ones whom are educated and can get a job why do they stay? But I love the shows so I watch them. Western shows I prefer light hearted comedy ones like Brooklyn 99 or Young Sheldon but otherwise for drama it’s PTV galore 😊

I guess in itv even a less privileged and uneducated FLs at times walk out of the marriage (not divorce) and surving on her own. They show that plot mostly for the leap or some seperation track and not exactly for women empowerment but it's still better than showing a helpless fl throughout the drama like hala. She is shown weak to the level we all know she cannot survive of her own in a conservative society.

True ITV does show that. Hala is a mental health patient she needs intense therapy and medication and be away from that environment. That’s why Hamza should have taken her out.

Even anupama who was not very smart now is a business woman. Gopi stopped crying too 😂😂😂😂

Here Naima is plotting because of khandaan and stealing in her own home that’s not bad but okay? That’s silly isn’t it?

Naima's face when she was gloating in her mind how good she did by hiding jewellery was hilarious 🤣
