Punjabi Hindu wedding is similar to what is shown on tele but Gujarati wedding they have four pheras only and not saat as shown in the tele. Sikh wedding is different too. My brothers all had Punjabi and Gujarati weddings and we had similar functions except the chooda ceremony. My sister married a Sikh boy and there’s was a different one. I have been to two Muslim weddings but there they said qubool hai and then reception that’s it. So I don’t know.

But what you said made sense.

I have never been to a north Indian wedding. I know it goes for as long as 7 days for some. I think in India, Kerala has the simplest wedding. We don't even have saath pheras or putting ghee into the fire thing. Just a simple flower garland exchange and a mangalsutra. that's it. Then nowadays some families do mehendi or Sangeet for fun but it's not part of the actual Kerala culture. We do have a reception after marriage and at times reception at the girl's house before the wedding day. But that's very simple.

It also depends on budget and preferences. My mother is a Punjabi and dad a Gujarati so they did both whereas with didi her in laws were keen on a Sikh wedding. With my youngest sister she had a civil marriage and we went to a hotel for dinner 😂😂😂😂

So I guess it depends but yes some functions can go Upto a month even 😂😂😂 I think it’s silly but I guess some like it lol 😂

I am someone that thinks spending too much on marriage is a waste of money. Do court marriage and use that money on world tour. I love to travel and see beautiful destinations. But i also enjoy a lot at my friend's marriages. 😆

Some people spend their entire savings on a wedding that might only last for 2-3 months 🤔

I am the same I don’t think wasting money and inviting a lot of people whom you don’t even know is fun. I think my youngest sister had the best idea as that’s exactly what she did - took the money and went on three different continents for her long honeymoon 😍😍

My family doesn’t care they have always allowed us freedom to choose but sometimes it is a waste I totally agree.

Shehroze maal hai but ab wo uski jawani second hand hai.

I don't think Raeesa and family has something called character, nobody would dump her daughter at someone's doorstep to go and fasao the man in that home. Raeesa could have just gone there with a proposal, but again when you are going with proposal, you should be ready to hear 'no' as well. Raeesa ki bigdi huyi aulaad cannot take no. Then there is one more namoona who is lattu behind a married cousin. Nobody has done anything with his life, but he's so dukhi aatma that he feels Woh loot gaya aur barbad ho gaya because he doesn't have right to shoot anyone walking on road. Rafakat was blaming his wife for this. He himself is not some Saint, but Raeesa has failed to install one good thing in her kids.

These people would not mind taking insults from rich, so Shehroz's insult doesn't count. If Ushna or Zainab bothers to show some reality, they'll be taking pledge every minute to destroy them.
