Well it is a good scheme and everyone except the opposition should support it.

“Do you support the Agnipath scheme?” or “Is Agnipath a good scheme?” are a few examples of debatable topics. I have no idea why every burning topic has to involve celebrities and what they think.

I don’t like the word scheme. It has negative connotations. But in the case of Agnipath, it seems apt, as the GOI consulted nobody thus giving it an air of secrecy. Also reeks of authoritarianism.

So, starting September of this year, is this scheme the only way for aspirants to enlist in Indian military? I looked everywhere and other than Wiki, no other source is providing an answer to it.

Definitely a good, meaty, topic worthy of debate! The proposed recruitment process has pros and cons.
