Listening to his songs now is a very different feeling, probably its not the same anymore.....his songs used to be stress reliever but now it makes me very sad never thought it will happen this much soon that he would be remembered as a history........ right there with the late greats like rafi sahab (55) , kishore kumar (58), knowing that they also died during their 50s, what more sad thing is the feeling that now new generation would never get to hear a new song of him knowing that it is the era of westren style music which kk was the pioneer in bollywood

I’m so devastated. I used to listen to his songs everyday, but since his death, I’m constantly replaying it on loop for hours. Bleeds my heart that such a phenomenal singer (the absolute best) passed away so soon. His voice and style of singing was unique and incomparable. I’ve been playing these two songs repeatedly.

I can’t imagine anyone doing justice to Rafi Sahab’s songs except for KK. There isn’t enough words to describe just how amazing this live performance was. Simply wow.

Alvida hits differently now. The lyrics hurt so much more. Listen to the vocals at 4:49, I swear it gives me chills. đŸ”„ I can’t believe the next generation will never get to experience the phenomena that was KK.

😭 may his soul be blessed and rest in peace.

this might as well have been by anthem song at one point. it's always an instant pick-me-up and never gets old.

Even this song (O Meri Jaan), hits me on a different note now! It starts of by saying "Dil Khudgarz hai, phisla hai yeh phir haath se"

Considering how he died with a Heart attack, it's like his Heart betrayed him. And the song goes, 'The heart is selfish, it's slipped yet again from the grip'. And when he sings 'Kal uska raha, ab hai tera, is raat se' - it's almost as if saying, my heart was alive yesterday but now it's your heart that's alive, not mine'.

I am interpreting it in a whole different way now!😭 And Alivida, Pal - these songs just get to me. So ironic those songs are with losing such a beloved Singer.
