I've watched this movie only once as a kid. I didn't make it til the end to catch Aishwarya's special appearance.

SRK's name is Gopal in this movie -- no thanks, I'll take Rahul any day.

Soo, from what I remember, SRK is a husband from hell,

Salman that annoying schmuck who is in brotherly love with her and is always up her business hanging out in her bedroom cuz he can't even tie his shoes without her,

and Madhuri is equally annoying for being dumb, oblivious and totally out of sync with her hubby, who has no idea that he is like her brother.

Since I'm tagged, I must wish this hot mess of a movie a very very happy anniversary! ⭐️

It's been ages since I saw this movie as well but I have similar thoughts as SmittenKitten.

SRK being named Gopal was already enough reason to turn on his character lol.

I also found the overall premise of the movie rather stupid that this entire time, Madhuri never thinks to tell jealous SRK that Salman was basically her brother. The entire conflict would have been resolved had she bothered to mention that but this whole melodrama rages on because she never informs SRK about the other most important person in her life.

I don't even remember Aish's cameo. She had a lot of cameos back then it seems, between this and Mela.

Yes, agree. It's a fine name but it doesn't work with SRK. There's a reason he is usually Raj, Rahul, Dev, Veer, etc.

You’ve tarnished my memory of this movie because up until now, I didn’t realise nor remember that Gopal was his name.
