Part 11- trick

Aryan got busy with dealing with lawyer personally and made sure the next hearing is the final. Imlie too visited the lawyer and had conversation with her. Their case was strong it was just matter of time.

Meanwhile, Imlie would visit Aryan’s mom after work especially when Aryan is not there. She would feel shy and awkward just like him. Everytime he tries to say something it comes out “I love your eyes, your nose and every other thing but i love you” so Imlie decided to make him say it for once and for all. She and his mom planned to trick him. His mom said she will hire a someone to act as a alliance. Imlie hesitated, but she finally went with the flow. She was little by little from mom’s love and comfort was getting out of the trauma. She also wanted to fulfill his mother wish for him to propose. She always cuss him as nalayak and gadh. She even threw chappal other day for saying i love your hair. Imlie laughed alot, she hasnt laughed like this for while.

Two days before court hearing, the executed the plan. Aryan mother purposely sent Aryan to a cafe to get her snack. Thats where he saw Imlie with a guy at first he didnt mind thinking he must be a friend because Imlie looked comfortable so he went back not wanting to disturb their meeting. Aryan mother hit her head, “Kaise nalayak ko paida kia hai, garlic bread leke aagaya. Gadha kahi ka” but she was determined. She called Imlie for dinner and she would casually ask her about her day and Imlie slyly needs to remove topic of that guy. Imlie agreed with the plan. So the same night, Aryan was suprised to see Imlie at dinner. “Hi”

“Hi” Imlie smiled extra which threw Aryan off, he actually scowled at her. “Beta Imlie kaisa raha hai din?” His mom started

“Thank you Ma, aapke wajah se am able

to move on. I met a great guy two days ago, he is journalist and “ She fake blushed and looking downwards , “We went on date today in a cafe” she said.

Aryan eyes went wide, he wanted to make snarky comment but he refrained. He wants to hear more. “Are wah beta, dekh Aryan dekha, gai ladki haath se murakh aadmi” hitting him on his head. “But”

“Are no ma dont hit him, not his fault. Hota hai. Time aaya or gaya. This journalist guy i told him about everything, he still likes me. It doesnt matter to me and infact he said i love you to me while leaving. Ab aap boliye maa koi mujhe itna pyar sirf kuch dino mein diya kaise mana kardu? He is romantic too” Imlie was overwhelmed at herself and her bad acting but she was just doing what his mother had asked. She knew his son very well. He got up angrily pushing the chair so hard it fell.

He came over to her side, “Aise kaise ho sakta hai? That day you rejected me now someone came and said i love you you melted? Pagal ho kya?” He scolded her.

Imlie turned and faced him, “Ma isko bolo mera raste se hate, jo i love you bola uski Imli” she said

“What nonsense!!” He said and went to his room throwing things. Imlie and his mother laughed at his antics but that idiot was too naive and still couldnt say i love you!!

“Iska kuch nai hoga. I am tired. Sach mein tere liye ladka dhundna padega” she whispered.

Aryan’s dad was quiet person but he laughed too with them. He already considers Imlie as his daughter and nothing could change that. His wife was more happier than he ever seen.

He went to Aryan’s room while Imlie and mom eavesdrop ,”Beta in ladies ka bharosa nai, ja pyar aur izat milega wahi jayenge. Itni pyari bachi hai, teen shabd bole nai jaate? Mein to college mein har do hafte ye words use karta tha alag ladkion ko. Who will say you are my son? Sharam aa rahi hai”

“Dad please!! I dont know what happens i fumble infront of her.” He said , his face was red

“Dekhlo, pata chale uski shaadi hojaye aur uske bache mama mama bulaye tujhe”

“DAD!! Never!! Go please i need time alone” his dad left and closed the door.

His wife was standing with hands on hips “I love you? Every two weeks new girls? Beta nalayak aur baap” she made a face and sulking went to their bedroom. Imlie took leave and left for her house smiling. He is definitely irked! Thank you god for giving me such a sweet family.
