I was really adamant about fighting that they could still save the show, but nope. They're hellbent on ruining it, and that's coming from ME. I am quite possibly one of the most loyal followers of the show, at least on this forum.
Kya kar rahe hain? Like, seriously? Sid-Sanju break up. Maine unki aadhe minute ki conversation miss kari because I had to give the phone to my Mom (before Sanju says for him to go back) and the next scene, break up? What? Yeh kya ho gaya? Kyun?
First, I don't understand why Sanju is the one who gets so angry and upset about Sid not wanting to introduce her to his dad. Did you forget that you hid and lie about your fiance, broke his heart, got him into a mess that nearly had him KILLED and he's being honest about wanting some time and you can't even give him time?
Second, Sanju calling Sid immature and non-serious all the time. Yes, he isn't as serious as you, but that's his nature! That's how he is! Do you want to change him and mould him? Isn't that literally role reversal of what your to-be in-laws wanted?
Third, Sid came all the way from academy just for her and offered his opinion and she is the one giving him attitude and calling him immature in front of everyone and telling him to stay out of it (when he said they should consider that deal in front of the lawyer.)
Fourth, tumhe jitna bhaav dena hai, sab theek. Tabh tum self-respecting, par doosra bhaav de, toh woh immature aur galat. Yeh kahan ka logic hai? Why the hell do they never show Sanju as wrong and accountable for her mistakes?
Even after emotionally cheating on Sid, there wasn't even an apology. At least, as flawed as Karan-Monami's relationship is, they had moments where they apologized for their wrong deeds to the others, talked to the other and made them understand.
Being understanding and expecting less, sahi hai. Zaroori hai pyaar mein. Par there's a different between being understanding and being a doormat.
I don't approve of Karan's stunt. Agar bata hi sakta tha woh Monami ko, agar usi ke haath mein tha, toh bata deta. Baad mein bhi toh bataaya hai. Par at least, they have genuine care and affection, jo ki mujhe Sanju ki taraf se bahut hi kam dikhi hai Sid ke liye. Call it lack of exploration, call it character flaw, call it whatever. Par nahi thi, point woh hai.
Aur yeh Barkha ko khud chance dena tha, toh de deti, par jab Karan ne mana kara tha, toh seedha jaakar Param ko kaahe bata diya ki woh zinda hai. Like, ek do character hi toh the jo abhi tak murder nahi hue the- Barkha and Baby- unka bhi kar do murder. There's a difference between being kind and understanding and being gullible and naive. I have never thought Barkha to be gullible even with her immensely kind nature.
I was in freaking blind love of this show but they are hella adamant to take off the blindfold that I didn't want to take off and burn it and make me stare at literally all the flaws of the story which I tried so hard to ignore. Ab toh yeh story ke saath flaw nahi, flaws ke saath story ho gayi hai.
Main usually itni tension leti nahi hoon, and I am still the idiot who would watch it everyday because I don't have much to do anymore except studying, but they have made all the charm wash off. It's really an impressive feat considering how crazy I was about this show. I used to wait like crazy for 8. As soon as it was 8:30, I was like, 'Kya yaar, ab 23 and a half hours wait karna hai.' And now, I am like, 'Oh, it's 8. Chalo.'
I am going to freaking write like crazy and fulfil my wants from the show. I am not ready to let go of the show I wanted but didn't get.
