There is no depth in #abhira

I know we are being served a hell lot of abhira romantic scenes but still there is only little conversations- why can't they show us them talking for a good length of time! To fall for someone's looks, voice is only superficial and to only keep on romancing looks odd- why don't they show their core personality traits come out, personality differences, difference in choices, akshara her goofy self more often? I hope after marriage the scenario changes/......

Ok ...this is going to be a long reply...I agree from your viewpoint that there is lack of conversation.but I don't agree that they don't have depth.if I keep aside my issues with execution of storyline, and go with the timeline of the show....it is no big deal that there is no normal conversation between them.Earlier confession it was almost impossible of them to have normal conversation with kind of things happened between them. And after confession, according to timeline of the show they didn't have a single peaceful day in their life.and the scenes we got it was kinda stolen moments for them...and why they just want to be close instead of talking...is the need of assurance that they are finally with each other.they had almost lost each other forever.that fear and insecurity is still somewhere and kind of things happening with them is not helping either.

N I know why it is so difficult for so many people to understand their story is because we are used to frenemies turned lovers turned ilfe parteners stories, then there is this hatred, revenge Marriage then fall in love ,then there is bridal swap at mandap. Almost all the stories if you see in itv comes under above category.And in all above cases leads spend so much time with each other even if they don't want to so obviously they are used to having each other around.

But here it is love at first sight or I could say love at first voice atleast for abhimanyu.( Which I might say is the most realistic form of love which also happens in real life.in real life people don't go for revenge, compromise or bridal swap)....they are not friends turned lovers.

N what we are seeing is the struggle of love at first sight kind of story.because it is so easy to like somone at very first glance and feel that you love that person and even to say I love you but to sustain that love and face all the hurdles of loving someone without knowing anything about them is the real deal.and this is what the story is trying to portray.

Two completely opposite people fell for each other without knowing anything about other.now they have to face the consequences good and bad both.it is going to be a roller coaster ride for them.

You have made similar posts earlier. Let me tell you that time and circumstances is going to play a important role here.

Even if there is depth, width and height in a relationship, a husband and wife's real test is how they face problems together. In India, unfortunately a couple give utmost importance to their loved ones. It can be the parents, brothers, sisters or their kids. Infact not easy to find healthy and balanced relationships within families. There are always some rotten apples with the wrong intent. You can call them the real grey characters.

Coming to Abhira, Abhimanyu may have fallen in love with Akshu's voice but there is a huge physical attraction between both of them. That is going to vanish if Manjiri and Aarohi try to play spoilt sport.

It is not important whether they talk, have conversations, get to know each other. Kind of irrelevant now as they are going to get married.

The question is are they going to stand together as a couple and safe guard each other's interest in front their families by putting themselves first over others ?.

I agree with u but the thing is this show's fans love drama between the leads than a meaningful conversation between them isliye toh the writers had to ruin a simple lunch scene by bringing unnecessary and avoidable allergy drama. 😆Abhimanyu should have simply told Akshara he can't eat the sweet potato curry because he's allergic to it or Mahima would have told Swarna over the phone to not prepare any sweet potato curry but then itna simple conversation se drama nahi aayega na. I am just giving u an example.

wow!!!! Just so beautifully put…depth us not just brought on by long conversations…there are other ways to express depth…the character graph of Abhimanyu as a lover is as real as it can get…his sole unwavering focus is on akshu n I know a lot of guys like that…his jealousy n anger n incorrect decisions as to moving forward with wedding with aarohi n then coming to personally break the news to akshara…this is not infatuation or superficial love…lovers with depth don’t always make the best decisions …sometimes they err…same with akshara …she loves Abhimanyu…all her actions till date show that except again letting Aarohi we’d with Abhimanyu…so what if they have not had pages worth of convo…imo theirs is one of the best love stories I’ve seen on itv till date …n a large credit goes to the actors themselves…they have made us believe in their characters…if that doesn’t communicate depth I don’t know what would

For once let us pinpoint the inefficiency of the script, screenplay and dialogue writers. For me Tilak 3.0 was close to normal. The episodes were good, everyone almost sane.

Immediately the writers came up with the most unrealistic date which involved the plastic ring exchange. Abhira threw the ice cream cones. For cable TV subscribers those Baskin and Robbins ice creams cost money. Later unwanted comical scenes and faltu dialogues by the writers.

Dejavu moment

While hiding from the goons who will tell protect my lehnga at all cost..

Coming to wedding card mishap, a furious Abhimanyu is shouting at Aarohi without any proof.

The unwanted drama is built up for Aarohi suicidal tendencies and Manjiri's accident drama.

The grey character is always given benefit of doubt and white washed to highlight her inner turmoil, fears and despair.

She has her own supporters

Abhimanyu is psychologically triggering the subconscious mind of Aarohi Goenka whereby certain actions are not under her control. It is plain human tendencies. Her profession has got nothing to do with the amount of humiliation she has faced because of her sister and Jijaji.

At the same time our queen cannot randomly guess that her sister dearest may have caused the accident. She won't even think why Aru is behaving in the most weirdest manner.

Wrt the accident why have the writers not paid attention to fine detailing. Akshara had a concussion, they did not bother to write the screen play in such a manner where her injury can cause mild amnesia of the event. She is in ignorance is bliss stage.

When the main leads character sketch has no depth or reasoning power, how are they going to conduct meaning discussions with each other. Suppose they do have, there is going to be massive disagreements. I am sure Abhimanyu may give up and make peace with Akshara.

The writers are trying to make the greg character superior.

The presentation of individual characters are not up to the mark and that is why a Aarohi Goenka Or Neil Birla is more fascinating for a certain subset of audiences.

My reply is not related to the topic. It is my pov as to why the leads are not clicking with one and all.
