Re self-restraint, yes NM did a grt job in the shower scene of conveying a yearning to get close to her not much in a sexual sense but in a sense of wanting to experience intimacy with her, to feel ‘secure’ in that intimacy. And at the same time, the rueful recognition that she is nowhere near ready for it & holding himself back.

Even in the initially part of the scene where he dejectedly goes to close the tap accepting that she wont step in & then his ‘its actually happening’ look! These 2 are really nuanced actors, hope the writers can keep doing them justice.

Agreed with everything that has been raised. Ram is most definitely seeking emotional intimacy with Priya. Like he told Adi, he has never had anyone show so much care and concern for him. He is used to being the "giver" and for him somehow it feels nice to have someone give to him. Its a new experience for him and he is cherishing it, and that's why his thank you to her was so heartfelt. Nakuul reflected the genuineness not just in the words but also in his eyes ❤️

Equally, Priya seeking out Ram's company now and actually entertaining his seemingly romantic gestures is such a nice transition. For a girl who covers it all with a strong façade on the outside, Priya's softer self is shining through. She still questions it all but no longer holds herself back. Disha has definitely nailed expressing Priya's internal confusion and happiness at accepting that this man and his antics have definitely made room in her heart
