Waiting for this for so long......đđ¤ I didn't know I had so many sadistic bones in my body till I felt my spirit soar as I saw the punches squarely landing on the bechara, innocent patrakarđđź I don't support physical violence, but I won't lie, accha toh lagađ
The episode started with poor ASR being outed by his mom as a coconut, hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Both actors playing ASR and Arpita share great sibling vibesđ¤, looked really nice with them sitting together, hugging, pulling each other's leg, guarding secrets and complaining to maađđź Whoever conceptualized their interactions did a phenomenal job of bringing the warm and fuzzy sibling vibesâ¤ď¸So precious, unlike the rival house with khokla relationshipsđđź ASR being all emotional with his mother and sister is soo beautiful and realistic. The youngest member of the family, grows up fast in the face of adversity to take over the hifazat of the family and keep them all safe and togetherđ. The bonds they share are authentic. The way he tries to shield them from the big, bad world. Nothing melodramaticđđź
Contrast this to Adi guy getting in the face of his mother, his elders etc,, Sorry to bring this up again and again, I can't get over the actor's portrayal of arrogance, pettiness, supposedly organic pyarđđźduring Nishant's marriage. Stole Nishant and his wife's celebrations from under them with selfishness. Urghhh.....hated it with a vengeanceđĄ. I hope Imlie is getting life's lessons here, if a guy can't even respect his parent or sibling for who they are in his life, then one fine day, she will also be meted with similar treatmentđĄThat is exactly what happened with her. In short, I didn't find not one quality that I could admire in that Adi guyđ¤Ź. Moving on......
ASR's and the nurse's facial expressions with the payal fiasco are so on point and hilariousđ¤Ł. The fight sequence is highly gratifying to watchđĽłI so wanted somebody to rake his behind on hot coals for what he did to 2 young women and the constant blame game and self pity. So annoying. ASR is ferociousâ¤ď¸. The self pitying jello of a man doesn't want to defend to score brownie points with Imlieđđź Ewww..... so in character when you live your life for an audience. I am so glad ASR is the no-nonsense, straight forward guy who doesn't shirk away from responsibility or accountability. He is not the " I am saccha, self righteous, innocent insaan", he is the " I am a villian and I have no regrets" kind of a guyđđź He is not ashamed to admit what he is, as he truly believes in his maqsad, right or wrong, that is what he feels. So refreshingđđź
As for Imlie's disillusionment, I am OK with that for the time being. The fact that she is fed the crap and seeing what she saw with ASR shiddat se punching the heck out of Adi guy. can cause some misunderstanding. I hope she quickly realizes that she was no way a tool or a weapon for ASR to do what he needed to dođ¤ Because, he had not utilized her in any way. He separated her out in his mind from his arch-nemesisâ¤ď¸I hope she understands quickly how ASR is authentic enough to own up his fallacies ( holding a grudge is a fallacy? I am not sure, I surely do hold grudges ) . It proves nothing other than him being human.
Rupi and Sundar's lines are đđźđ¤˘Did I say I don't like this female? I don't know why she is asking if Sundar has any objections about Arpita's past. It is as if Arpita is tadap rahi hain and that Sundar has all these options to choose fromđ¤Ź. Again, so stereotypical. Why didn't she ask Imlie whether she is OK with her bhai's history of shaadi on top of a shaadi .......when she pushes them along all the time. don't judge me as a classist, but kya qualifications hain Sundar mein other than he is smitten with Arpita.đđź Just save your head from her brother, buddyđł
Not sure if any of this made sense. Just some random rambling for today.....
