Nope, at that moment it would not have any effect or the desired result, It will make things worse as Mukku will feel Anu is just defending herself. Mukku is not in any state of listening right now. If Mukku would not have been dicy, emotional fool, or trauma-effected character then Anu speaking up will have made sense somewhat.
