It is toxic Mithi i agree, but these writers have supreme love for Kaand and toxicity to make a point so we cant do or say anything!! Every path for Anu is laid in the boundaries of toxity which she has managed to break a little and deviate. I still have to see progress in the real sense for ANu. As per me that has still not happened. She is so much always into tacking issues that she has hardly had that breather to think about herself and who ever she holds really dear. Shahs are her responsibility and not her love.
