Anuj was feeling uneasy after getting hints of Vanraaj intentions for his sister. He knew that something is cooking in Vanraaj's mind but don't know what. He so wanted to throw Vanraaj out of Mukku's life and business but it seems that he felt as if his hands and feet are tied with thick iron chains. Because he fear to loose his sister again.
He was in his thoughts when Anu knocked the door of his bedroom. This broke his thoughts.
Anuj: itni raat ko Anu, what happened? Are you okay?
Anu: no I am not. I need to tell you something. I want to tell you some serious issue related to our Mukku.
Anuj got even more tensed. His protective brother mode went ON. It seems that he got something to take action. He looked at Anu and gestured her to go ahead with whatever she wants to talk or tell him.
Anu: mai aapko idhar udhar na batake seedhe seedhe baat batati hmm. (Looking right into his eyes), Mr. Shah ke intension thik nahi hai Mukku ko leke. Sorry main galat thi unke baare me.
Anuj (gripping his fist): i knew this. I told you this earlier that i cannot trust anyone who has hurt you and see mera prediction thik tha. But when did you noticed or know this?
Anu: sankranti pe mujhe doubt huya and Mr. Shah ne saaf saaf bola ki abhi to unhone shuruaat bhi nahi ki hai.
Now this was the last hit for Anuj and he panicked. But still tried to calm himself as the person infront was Anu, his Anu.
Anuj: and you are telling me now after a week? Mujhe haq nahi tha apni behan ke baare me janne ka? Koi kuch galat plan kar raha hai uske liye and you have kept it to urself. I trust you but why you have not told me this earlier??
He bended little to look into her eyes to read them but to his surprise, she was teary. But she wanted to hide her tears so she was looking down. She knew that she has hurt Anuj big time but it was unintentional. She never wanted to hurt him. But want to protect siblings so that there will not be any further misunderstanding now.
Anu gulped the courage and looked into Anuj's eyes with her teary eyes. She knew that talking to her Man is a lot easy as no matter what he will listen to her and will atleast try to understand her point. He trust her.
Anu: kyuki Mai nahi chahti thi ki aapke or Mukku me or koi misunderstanding ho. Mai bas aap dono ke beech ki dooriyan mitana chahti hmm kyuki aapne and usne ek dusre ka bahut intazar kiya hai. Aapki wo responsibility and family hai. Maine socha ki pahle mai apne tarah se koshish karungi Mukku or Mr. Shah ko samjhane ki but Mr. Shah ke irade bahut khatarnak hai. Mujhe nahi pata ki wo kya karne wale hai. Mujhe bahut Darr lag raha hai bahut. Mujhe pata hai ki aap kuch bhi zaldi me nahi karenge but us din aapka gussa dekhke mai darr gayi thi jab wo gunde humare beech aa gaye they. Aap Mukku se bhi utna hi pyar karte hai jitna ... Mujhe pya... ( She looked somewhere else). Isliye mai darr gayi thi.
Anu continued: because hume bahut sambhal ke chalna hoga. Kyuki Mukku sirf aapki hi nahi meri responsibility bhi hai. Mujhe samjh nahi aa rahi hai ki mai kya karu jisse mai usko bacha loon and aap dono ki duriya kam ho jaye because uske baad hi mai aapko apne dil ki baat ..... (She stopped here because she knew that this is not the right time)
Even Anuj also didn't bothered with her last words.
He said nothing but sat on the bed. He waved his fingers through his hair. He is angry, sad but can't show it to anyone. He is in disappointment.
Anuj: you should have looped me in before. Itna to trust kar sakti thi tum. But tum bhi kya karti because you have seen my relation with Mukku is not good. Atleast I can't have a better conversation with her. She don't even listen to me. Hume sach me soch samjh ke kadam uthana padega. But if you have told me to hum milke kuch figure out karte na. Tumne bhi mujhe akela chhod diya, jaise mai humesha tha. I was mad who has started to hope for us. But thik hai.
Anu interlocked her fingers with his.
Anu: please aisa mat boliye. Aapko pata hi nahi hai shayad ki aap mere liye itne important hai. Shayad mujhse bhi jyada aap hai. Please aisa mat boliye. Mai independent hmm ab but phir bhi rishta Jo dil se jhudta hai wo dhukh me hota hai to dard hota hai. Hume abhi Mukku ke baare me sochna chahiye. Mujhe pata hai maine aapko naraz Kiya hai but bharosa kijiye maine Jaan ke nahi kiya, mujhe sach me laga ki Mukku and Mr. Shah ko sambhal lungi Mai akele. Mai dalat bhi. Wo aadmi ghatiya and gira huya hai. Laakho rakshas mare honge to wo ek paida huya hoga. But please naazar mat hona, please. Because aap nazar honge to mujhse saans bhi nahi le paungi.
She wiped her tears which she cannot control anymore to come out.
Anuj: I am not angry with you. Mujhe gussa apni kismat pe aa raha hai. Tum chitna mat karo, hum milke kuch karenge.
Anuj was about to leave her hand but this time she was not ready to let go of him, his hand. She held his ring finger with her ring finger and again interlocked it. She looked again into his eyes but he didn't want to look at her presently. She knew that she did a mistake of not involving Anuj prior but she had her reasons. But she also knew that he will understand her.
Anu: aap mujhe na dekhe thik hai, mujhse aankhein chora le wo bhi thik hai, but mujhse door chale jaye, ye thik nahi hai.
Anuj (still not looking at her): u know mai naraz nahi ho sakta tumse, just I need sometime. Tumhe bhi pata hai ki mai nahi rah paunga tumhare bina. Are when I can't let you go to you home, then door kaise jaunga. Just I need to get some air to gather some thoughts.
Anu tightened her grip of ring finger as if she can't let him go even for a second.
Anu: aap aaram se sochiye. Aapko gussa aaye mujhpe to gussa bhi kariye, kyuki aapka haq hai, apno pe haq hota hai, mai aapki hi to hmm...
Now with this she let him go. She knew that she has almost said her heart and her point. She wanted Anuj to get some air as he demanded. With all this thought she moved her hand back. But she wanted to be with her Anuj at this time because she want to accompany him even when he was thinking atleast he will not feel alone which he is feeling now.
She is too emotionally attached to her Anuj that even when he was not looking at her all this time, it was unable for her to even breath properly, maybe it's her first love.
But to her surprise, Anuj grabbed her arms and pulled her in his embrace. He caresse her hair. She cannot stop but dig her nose in his chest.
Anuj: kuch bhi ho jaye, i cannot be angry at you. Now never say such things and make sure to keep me in loop in future. U know na how much I love you?? Waise what you said abhi... U are mine... Matlab?
Anu don't want to answer that because she has kept all these words for future after clearing the mess with Mr. Shah. But she can't help but blush and she further digged her nose into his chest and clutched his shirt. Sometimes action speak more then words. Anuj don't want to make her blush more. But still he has thoughts and plan in his mind about what he can do with Mr. Shah. He let Anu to feel calm and protection in his embrace, so he tightened the hug while caressing her hair.
