Because, Abhi was never a family person dear. The understanding and importance of family and relationship was not his subject until akshu came in his life. The writers made it clear from the very first episode and right now they are exploring this areas like how Abhi is getting involved and learning the importance of family.

Yes, they both r so mad in love. But these two are pole aparts and they got some basic traits and they yet have to know and understand these things. Just because a girl and boy are in love, doesn't mean they will get to know everything about each other. This is why to maintain a relationship is so tough than getting into it.

And I totally love it how cvs don't change the traits of abhimanyu overnight. Yes, this boy is impulsive, unpredictable, immature but what I love more is when his ma and akshu make him understand, he catches the facts right at that moment. He is not perfect dear nor a superhero. afterall he is a human being and he is growing and healing also with every passing day. And don't forget, like akshu, his family is also toxic.

So, it's not possible for abhi to understand everything overnight, just like akshu to be outspoken overnight!

Yes, he has concern for his family, but not like akshu. But slowly and in subtle way, he is getting involved. He is following akshu's route to enter this family zone just like akshu becoming outspoken and vocal about her own happiness slowly. They both are written in such way where they are perfectly imperfect and they have got so many things to learn from each other! This way, they will slowly heal each other!

I find it funny how some address the mental health issues of akshu only, but not Abhi as if he came from healthy family. Just because they are leads, they have to be perfect and they can't do wrong!! Specially, From Abhimanyu! Lol! People only enlighten the fact how Abhi can suggest akshu to run away, how abhi can dance while akshu is crying etc bla bla blue blue! But they don't see the facts how abhi likes to get himself rectified when his ma and akshu make him understand! How he respects their opinion, how he takes stand infront of whole world on behalf of themselves.

My Abhi and Akshu both are imperfect! But I believe since, they are binded by love now, slowly they will address their issues and rectify the mistakes of each other by the love and help of each other.

Yes why? That too when he gave bade papa himself such a lecture on what akshu is?? His soul connection with akshu enables him to feel when she's in any physical pain but not when she's in emotional pain? Just like manjari mata's soul connection with her son that could hear his heartbeat but not see the pain written on his face.

And abhi may not be as into family as akshu but at least he knows this much..what it is to love a parent and want to do everything for his/her happiness.. So why can't he understand that same feeling about akshu. Abhi's mummy is mummy akshu's daddy is bakwas??
