This poll was conducted to prove Abhimanyu fans are the majority here with a huge margin. Only a few of us are the voices of dissent here, tagging some of them. Dissent is always necessary and is healthy in a majoritarian space. We all know what it is called when a majority tries to stifle dissent and suppress minority.

Everyone has opinions and the forum is a democratic space. Who wants to live in an eco chamber? Be open and tolerant to diversifying opinions. Try engaging with different opinions or don't, but please stop crying negativity negativity. 😊

Btw. You created a poll between abhimanyu and akshara but FYI , so called "abhimanyu" fans are akshara fans too. Include "both" or "none" as an option and then compare the results.

Anyone here seen the movie Miss India America (it’s on Hulu)? The lead character is exactly like Arohi but better-acted and funnier.

Nope I'm afraid I had to Google it just now as I haven't even heard of it. I do like Hannah Simone so might need to check it out. I don't have Hulu though!

I am supporting Abhi because he puts Akshara first.

Nope. Is it any good? Will check it out.

It might be on YouTube or other platforms too. Clearly a small niche film but the acting is good and all the characters are given layers. Hannah Simone is great in it. Watching it with this season of yrkkh in mind made it extra fun!

In the most recent example, she wanted to inform Arohi and their families about their decision to be together and try to persuade them. It would created a huge furore but the heads-up would’ve let the families discreetly make some excuse to cancel the wedding and they would have the discussion privately. But Abhimanyu’s way is will have the worst familial and social repercussions on Akshara only. Yes he’s the bridegroom who jilted his bride at the mandap but now she’s going to be the selfish characterless woman who ran off with her younger sister’s husband to be.
i know we won’t agree on this, but to me most of Abhimanyu’s actions and decisions are made with his own interests and impulses in mind, and with very little thought of how they’ll affect Akshara. If he really wanted to put Akshara’s well-being first, shouldn’t he have agreed to marry any one besides Arohi? It was the most hurtful thing he could do to Akshara and he knew it.

But I'll pick Abhi over Akshu. At least, the man is honest with his feelings and has the guts to admit it in front of everyone. Even after, Akshara stayed quite in and after the proposal fiasco - he didn't shy away from flaunting that she was special to him and that he wasn't going to leave her side then be it in the Aarohi hospitalization bit or the singing therapy one.

I get it that Akshara hasn't had it easy and she has been constantly weighed down by the guilt that Aarohi has forced upon her and stuff but still - somehow, I can't seem to feel deeply enough for her to give her a thumbs-up.

But then again, I haven't watched a lot of episodes. My opinion might have been different had I watched every single one.

I'll definitely look for it, sounds interesting. Especially as it's a recommendation coming from you!
