Just because she is Female Lead and Mother, she can’t be right all the time. She is literally forcing her child to be in relationship, which is completely wrong. I hate this Indian mentality, that no matter how bad the relationship is, you have to stick to it. Nandini is totally wrong here as I already mentioned in my previous topic and Anupama is showing her right.

Even though V has done lot of mistakes but I completely agree with him on this one. If the relationship is not going to work in future, it is better to move on.

Why why why do we have to always agree with a female lead? Why can’t they be wrong?

Because she knows what is the problem; as she knows Vanraj from 26 years, she knows when he is happy and when is planning something. She knows that Vanraj doesn't want SaNan to get married so he will do anything to break the relationship. I wouldn't say that Nandani was totally wrong. Her concerns are correct but her tone wasn't correct. Vanraj was her would-be FIL, she could have approached the topic with a calmer tone and respectfully, as Vanraj was also being calm first. Anupama knows the situation is not such that a relationship would be broken off like that. Also I didn't expect Samar to overreact like how he did, instead of listening, and assuring her, he broke off the engagement. Even Nandani is not seeing her mistake of how she spoke..she started off with Samar in a pissed off tone, she could have spoken to him in a normal conversational tone, but she started fighting and Vanraj took advantage of that.

Its not about V here. Its about Nandini who is reacting unnecessarily. First of all, why can’t she call/text her Masi. If her Masi can talk to Ba Bapuji, she can talk to her niece too. If she doesn’t reply her, then its her fault. Samar is no way in any fault in this whole situation and Anupama forcing Samar is not right.

Forcing would be if this was an arranged marriage and Samar did not like the girl. This is a love marriage, Samar loves Nandini but only love is not enough for a happy married life. The girl needs assurance in a family full of problems. All couples fight, whether before marriage or after marriage...its normal..and a relationship is not a joke..marriage is not supposed to be a joke where you have the freedom to call it quits anytime..Marriage is a lifetime commitment and Indian marriages are janam janam ka rishta. You can fight all you want but leaving is never the option. In an arranged marriage, the family is always involved behind the couple..but in a love marriage, it is entirely the couple's responsibility to sustain the relationship.

I think her gripe is that V isnt worried for his wife. You are right, she has blown this out of proportion. Samar too went down that path and over reacted.

Completely agee with the communication with masi. Plus Kavya has been in touch with baa bapuji, why couldnt they open their mouth and say something? Tell her that he masi is fine and looking for a job, also took their blessing etc etc. That sounds so stupid to just watch their fight.😕

Sanan tiff was introduced out of blue that doesnt have any meaningful justification at all. It is quite silly!

Agreed that all boils down to communication, all Nandini had to do was pickup the phone and talk/txt.

On the other hand there are heated arguments in a relationship, and they are not mature enough, that once you calm down and communicate you find a way.

This is a committed relationship, not a disposable commodity, use and throw, didn't like it, dump. Like Anu says you have to nurture a relationship, and yes when its toxic like V&A, it should be cut.

Almost everyone agrees that nandu ne kuch jyada hi raita fela diya but samar also reacted a bit too much. And its not like that sanan relationship has come to end. They just had first disagreement in their relationship so far and all anu and elders want is to dont give up on relationship just because of a misunderstanding and fight.

They have no complaints from each other. They fighting over vanya's relationship. Its not wise to ruin your relationship because of someone else. So what anu wants is just samar to think with calm mind and then decide anything. She never forced him. She was just being assertive and stay strong on her view point. Just like what v was doing. If her dialogues sounded pushy to you then v's dialogue were also pushy, he was literally trying to shake him by shoulders and manipulating into breaking up with nandu.

Basically with anu and v's dialogues, makers wanted to show the baap ka khoon vs maa ke sanskar battle.

As v is the one who is egoistic and impulsive and he cant stand if someone defy him. He clearly made as many mistakes as kavya but he expects everyone to forgive him but he is not willing to forgive kavya. He is not the one to make efforts for the lady whom he loved if it involves bowing down a little from his ego. While anu is someone who will accepts her mistake even though the mistake is of other if it ensure saving a worthy relationship. And its good that she is giving this advice to her son. Whats wrong if sometimes a man backs away and bow down for his spouse because otherwise it is always expected of girl to do so.

And even after all the dialogue bazi the decision is left with samar. So nobody like forcing him.

im with you on this one. nandini crossed a line that is very very hard to backtrack on especially in our culture where you live and die for your parents. I get that Anupamaa doesnt want him to make a rash decision on the basis of one fight, but Vanraj had some really valid points about glorifying sacrifice. i guess she sees the love between Samar/Nandini and really wants to make sure that they are irreparable. Atp though Nandini will never be able to live comfortably in that house with Vanraj after that whole scene
