I have watched couple of episodes of Udaariyan, in that till Jasfa marriage, there wasn't any quintessential romantic scenes between Tejang... it was more on the lines of friendly nature with Angad's ambiguous dialogues. Then Fateh was given his redemption track and that was pretty much the end to Tejang.
Here that is not the case, the moment Adilie got divorced, O Jaaniya started playing, and through out Adini wedding, it was more of Arylie and Arylie growth along with Adilie fall out was the main focus point.

Makers had a few sequences where Aryan was made aware of whatever Imlie went through. Aryan knows without any doubt or confusion, who all are against Imlie and who all are supporting Imlie. Aryan knows Imlie's pain, her character and the layers to it. And mostly, he is intrigued by Imlie every step of the way. These kind of things, they do for only a romantic interest, not for a villain.
