Your favorite film writer/critic?

Who is your favorite film writer, critic or film journalist? Someone who is good reference or reliable for information on films.

My favorite is Bhawana Somaaya who I feel is not snarky, not into gossip, has fair commentary on films, industry and has interesting anecdotes to share from 1970s till date as her experience as a senior journalist. Her reviews are fair enough and not ideologically biased. She has never really shown favouritism for particular actors or production houses. Her interviews were always respectful.

Which film writer, journalist, critic you enjoy reading or watching?

Random but her interaction with Neetu is cringe. I get they've been friends for decades but the constant Raj Kapoor jaap, incessant praising of how his genes display in his grandkids/great grandkids on Insta is a bit much.

My fav is anmol jammval.

Bhawana tries to keep on good terms with all stars and star families. Hence jaap on Raj Kapoor. She will probably do jaap on Bachchans also if she interviews a Bachchan.

She referred a lot to Rajesh Khanna in interviews with Dimple and Twinkle as well.
