I just finished watching this movie after Konkona mentioned it in the Netflix roundtable, and I quite liked it. It is definitely worth a watch. Anyone else who has seen this and liked it?

I don't know if I liked overall, but in sections it was good (especially konkona coming to terms with how her son is)
What I found most interesting is that the names, dolly & kitty, are the same in Anna Karenina's characters where kitty gets dumped by the manshe desired and ended up settling for someone else and Dolly's husband is a serial philanderer whom she is stuck with
I did not like it I was expecting more

That's interesting. Thanks for sharing. I also liked it in parts but overall also I thought it was quite alright.

Oh, interesting. I wonder if the makers were loosely inspired by the book.
I liked the movie. It presents the characters and their challenges in an interesting way.

I'd think so.. both dolly/kitty in the book were also sisters/cousins(?)
It was the second best film of 2020, after Thappad for me. And I thought Bhumi's performance was also second only to Taapsee Pannu. Konkona was also splendid.

Director Alankrita Shrivastava is really one to watch, her resume includes: Lipstick Under My Burkha (2016), Made In Heaven (2017), Dolly Aur Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare (2020), Bombay Begums (2021)
I was hoping for more when it was announced, but the trailer itself disappointed me, so I had no much hopes.
Ig the only bit I actually liked was Konkana's relationship with her son and her leaving her husband.
I did recently as well and it was pretty interesting..
Horrible movie...smoking drinking and extra marital affairs make u look cool....disgusting and flithy thoughts....these are wrong if its done by a girl or a boy...🤢🤢🤢🤢
