@ bold 🤣🤣.

That bird was probably taking its sweet revenge since it had to flee from Singhal to save its life as the Singhal King disapproved Padmini's friendship with it & tried to kill it 😆😆 I think we have Padmini's father to blame for the whole tragedy afterall. I can't see what harm it could have done had he allowed Padmini to keep the parrot with her 🤔 Ajib admi with his ajib khunnas for a mere bird🤓

Oh yes they are 😆 I visited the fort this year. I really liked all its history though. And the place is beautiful ❤️. But too damn hot, I went there in Feb, I wonder what happens during the peak summer months There's just something about that whole fort though. It's so hauntingly gorgeous.

Yeah.... Rajasthan is too hot in daytime but VERY COLD in the night if you visit in the winter. I remember we had gone there during November end - December beginning and we felt very cold after the sunset. In Udaipur we had stayed in a tent resort & we had a open garden dining system there & they lit bonfire throughout the whole garden so that we could be warm enough to eat comfortably 😬 Even inside the tent, heater was on all the time. But the daytime felt pleasant.😳

@Bold : Exactly. It was beautiful, but in a very sad, depressing way. The great fort, lying in total ruins ..... I felt very bad seeing its condition More so because just the previous days we explored Jaipur & saw Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal etc... which are more or less still intact. So Chittor ruins looked all the more disturbing.😔

Because the original incident has nothing to do with Khilji pining for Padmavati. Otherwise, we'd have to believe a parrot actually spread gossip about her beauty.

Even worse is the Krishna birth story. Most TV shows portray Kamsa imprisoning Vasudev and Devaki in same cell 😆. I mean, wouldn't it do simply to keep them separate until she menopaused?

Actual text says Kamsa was merely having them watched because Narada warned him of potential contenders to the throne and threat to Kamsa's life. Then, Kamsa proceeded to have the male children killed.

I did not know that... I used to wonder 🤔 that myself, why didn't he put them in separate cells 😆

Now I know

Oh, there's tons of stuff from MBh shows I want to throw the TV out for.

I think my biggest peeve is the vastraharan scene. Panchali rescued herself!!! Vyasa says so, but our showmakers can't stomach the idea of a woman capable of her own rescue.

I have been to Fatehpur Sikri, but somehow I missed out on this gem 😆 Maybe because we didn't take any guided tour as someone from our group already knew his way around. If I ever go again, I am going to insist on getting a guide😆

Oh no, they are a nuisance and keep asking for money.

Once they even beat a European couple. Stay away.

Along with the ruins, I think its history makes it all the more tragic as well as mysterious. The whole experience of visiting that place was beautiful nonetheless. And it's so darn huge, by the time we finished it we were so tired 😆 Ah yes, since Rajasthan has the deserts of India, it's bound to have extreme temperatures, the time when I visited during Feb the nights were so damn cold, but the daytime was very hot.
