Well I am going back to not watching. This stuff is farcical. How can Imlie become a camera expert overnight? When she first went into the news office she wouldn't even use a laptop, despite having done a computing class in college. She anyway could not just drop out of college in her first year and into a high level job.

Absolutely no-one asks any sensible questions of each other, and how anyone can like Aryan with his fake deep voice and his constant bullying tactics is beyond me. He even spoilt her breakfast!

He went on about Imlie facing her fears - he is too thick to see that she was actually trying to avoid humiliation! This is a very different thing. He has no idea, despite his apparent super-powers of knowing everything about everyone, just how much physical and emotional pain she has suffered via Anu and Malini - yet forces her to do his bidding! He gets more like Arnav Singh Raizadah every day - if that is who he is based on then they can forget what was a lovely story.

Nakli Nani was doing well for a while but after some success they phased her out too, it is unlikely Imlie's family would just give up like that. Not one single character follows through with thoughts, beliefs or behaviours apart from the dastardly duo, and they are more like an evil cartoon pair now.

Well, I came back and gave it a try after some months of being busy with work, I don't think I should have bothered at all. This is not the relaxing Christmas holiday entertainment I was after at all!

So sad, Sumbul and Gashmeer are fantastic actors and this is now so demeaning for them.

I have nothing but respect for Mayuri, actually. She went through a personal tragedy if losing her husband to suicide, and knowing the hate she will receive from having her character turn this dark, she was still bold enough to do it. No comments about her acting skills, she may not be in the league of ST or GM, but she was good enough in playing the naieve, previleged, upper class city gal persona pretty well before the stupid track of Anu poisoning her! But that they decided to turn her character dark like that, the least they could have done is to not butcher one of the main leads so much. Evil should really not have this much relevence in a daily soap!

Agreed everyones including mayuris character has been butchered in the show but they are overdoing it with sumeer now. Paatal ke neeche gira dees dono ko😭. Both are acting out of character and stupid. Adilie not talking to each other and asking the relevant questions to clear up the misunderstanding cuz the makers need to keep the show running with stable trp till eternity torturing viewers and actors instead.

Agreed. There is absolutely no consistency in any of the characters.(Only Anu Chaturvedi has been consistent in her characterization!!).

If they wanted to show Arylie getting closer, there were so many ways to do it rather than these contrivances and tropes. What appealed to me in the Adi-Imlie budding romance was the subtelety. Just both of their acting and hitting it out of the park each time (like in the honey scene, where he feeds her honey after eating the spicy kadhi, or the exam passing scene, or the PD3 scenes....), there was none of this forced falling down, saving the aarti thali, pushing down a slide etc., and we still saw the connection. I think that credit goes entirely to ST and GM for being able to emote so beautifully, to be romantic without being romantic! That charm is completely gone now, unfortunately!

And now, we have to be tortured with this extemely cringe track of them dressing up and acting out Bollywood sequences. Hey SM, can you please really put a stop to this nonsense? The re-marriage itself it cringe, and to have a BW sequence is cringe inside a cringe! Why would they randomly invite the reports covering the event to also dress up like Bollywood stars? And please. Mr. Aryan, CEO of Bhaskar Times is also going to show up in Bollywood gear will be the ultimate cringe!

They are done up and announced like celebrities - Anu still thinks she is a queen! Stupid 🤬.

I think I hated Adi the most ever with that terrible smile of his in the precap - almost as evil as Malini.

But I hate Aryan more for constantly abrading Imlie for her tears - has he never had a broken heart? Imllie would be enduring total mental and physical torture right now yet he tells her off all the time - I would love - as I saw in a slogan a few weeks back - to slap him away so hard even Google couldn't find him! 😡

Have to switch off TV now. Presents to wrap and proper festive cheer awaits. 🎄🎄🎄🎄

As much as a huge fan I am of Gashmeer Mahajani, I am really not able to relate to any of the characters in this track because it is getting really extremely nonsensical. If Imlie does marry Aryan, I hope they just spin it off and take it in a completely different direction, and just write Aditya off the show. I can't take one more track of Imlie being miserable in another shaadi or being this mahaan patni who wins over Aryan's vengeful heart with her love. (I am cringing as I write it!!!!!) And if Aryan and Imlie marry, resurrecting Adilie will be even more cringe!! It will be a show where no one is capable of staying married to the person they married!

At this point, what I want to know is if Aryan has started the revenge on Adi, or is it still ongoing, or if it has finished with him being demoted to writihg shok sandesh. And I want to know if Arylie happen, what even is the point of the stupid revenge track (because the BIL's death was not even Adi's fault). So will his revenge focus now shift from BIL's death to Adi's ill treatment of Imlie? And then there's Arpita... her only character trait was her fear of fire which she apparently overcame with Imlie's help. So what will be her role... will they bring in a new hero for her? If this is the case, Adi is not the lead anymore, so is he OK playing the second fiddle in a show? May be he is. As for Malini's character arc, I don't even know what to say!!

Agree with a lot of what you are saying. I think they went this route to extend the show, keep Malini relevant, engage the audience with a fresh face and chemistry, give Adi a long redemption, maybe Malini punishment will go side by side and start a completely new older Adilie track.

I am starting to wonder if they will have arylie and adini at the same time and show Arylie happy with happy R family and T's miserable with Adini.

While I loved Adilie - the whole essence of them was destroyed when Adi deleted the video. If makers can give a story that is not further contrived I don't mind Arylie. Arylie will be happy by all foreshadowing. Here is the problem,,,I'm 100% sure they will break Arylie for Adilie by making Aryan either do something to Adi after marriage or reveal that Adi was manipulated to be suspicious of Imlie by Aryan and Malini. They will as I said conveniently forget all the Adilie issues and make as if Aryan the villain was only responsible for everything and break Arylie apart.

That is then too much. I have some hope left. These makers often appear wrong in the short term sometimes but as it plays out it gets better.

I heard somewhere that Arpita and Sundar were to have a romance track. I also feel Imlie will come and go to T house after marriage as the daughter of the house. I just don't know hoe they are going to bring everything together without a lot of contrivance.

Arylie dialogs are good and the growing comfort is the only thing worth watching. Imlie giving as good as she gets. Adilie have not spoken like this since Malini's first suicide attempt. In Adilie Imlie was the rock, here it is the reverse. So its nice to see Imlie get some support and care.

I agree with your points. I am not sure how Imlie will go to T house if adini marriage or not done.

If she is Aryan's wife and Arpita and Sundar have a thing won't it bring T's and R's together. Also Aparna looks like she is ready to dump Adi and adopt Imlie at any time....so she may come and go and keep relationships with the others in the house.

It will be very interesting to see where they are taking this.

If Adini marries - pf will happen shortly after.

I don't think Adini will start their marriage without pf. Already Adi is unravelling...when he knows the truth he will be devastated. I'm also really curious to see if they keep the baby or have a miscarriage.

Is there a baby at all? I mean itna raita phailaya hai, to yeh bhi bata hi do ki baby hai bhi ya nahi. I mean if there isn't a baby and the expose does happen then Malini will lose leverage over Aditya and Tripathis to stay in that family.

I feel marriage will happen, but before that Aditya could question this decision and disappear. But Imlie would locate him and remind him that he chose Malini and he has to live up to that choice. Jaise usko chod diya, waise har kisi ko chod nahi sakta woh.

I know many sympathise with Aditya, but Aditya's disconnect with reality is what has pushed me to believe that unless he is put in a situation where he cannot push back from, he will not begin introspection as to what went wrong. He jeopardised his relationship with Imlie which separated them, but most importantly he has separated from himself also. He needs to find his way back to himself just like Imlie to revive the no-nonsense, principled, flawed yet good person. I don't expect that from Malini because she ain't a strong character to begin with.

Imlie is not meant to return to that house as Aditya's wife anymore, but she is still a member of that family. However, it is pointless, cause the family hasn't really given anything to have that right over her. It's only Imlie's respect for them that has sustained this relation. If they really think she is the daughter, they would not treat her as some rehabilitation centre for their son. She has done enough. It is time to pay back.

Aryan maybe annoying to some, cause it ruins AdiLie for them. But AdiLie was already f**ked before Aryan came. He just escalated something which was bound to happen, considering Aditya trusts Malini so much. Aditya is the villain of his own life, not Aryan. Low key manipulation everyone does to get things their way, Aditya and Malini have done bigger tanta than that, which Imlie has let pass. I don't have any idea what they will do to this couple AryLie, what I do know it's a breather from the AdiNi painfest cause there is a balance. Atleast, Imlie is giving back in good measure.
