Am I the only one here

Well, I was going around some posts in the forum and from what I gather people are not quite excited about seeing the saxena - Sinha - sathe dynamics in the show assuming that this might be a typical love triangle.

But why is that? Isn't this show different from all the love sagas with high voltage drama/ plotting and planning going on.

I have read the interviews of makers where they have said the story will not be stretched as it is a finite show as well as the show will be about doctors dealing with both professional and personal problems.

And I do want to see that struggle as well .I want to see what Deepika faced personally coz it happens in real world where girls are asked to give upon their dreams and settle by marrying . Then why do their parents educate them at all....only for biodata.

For Deepika it wasn't easy to choose between her love and career but she her conscience led her onto the right path. Now when vikrant meets her after 10 years and sees her achievement and calibre would he still be the same misogynist guy like 10 yrs before or would he learn a lesson. I really want Deepika to surpass vikrant professionally so that he learns that it is not always a guy's dream that matters.....girls also have dreams and right to pursue their careers even after marriage.

I am excited as the main track is gonna start now when I will actually relate to the characters of the show.

Also it is necessary to show both sathe's and saxena's dynamics with Deepika because on one hand when vikrant asked Deepika to chose between her career and love despite claiming to love her, Dr sathe is already supporting Deepika in her cause as he believes in her vision and can see her genuine passion for medicine.

So even if we get to see sathe falling for Deepika , it will be a HUGE CHANGE in our tv medium where an ambitious woman is always the villian whereas a dumb sacrificial woman is the lead.And i really want that to happen and I want Deepika to chose sathe over saxena despite the age factor as this show is all about breaking stereotypes so I am totally totally excited for the upcoming track.

The way love triangles are written, I'm not really a fan.

The only triangle and third angle I liked was Lavanya from IPK.

So I'm doubtful yes 😳

It kind of boils down to how makers ultimately handle it... it might not be so bad after all.

But ITV has scarred all of us, we can't help but be apprehensive of love triangles. Makers could surprise us though.

Everyone has different reasons, ig. Some don't want the medical part to take a back seat, some want Sathe-Sinha to be a mentor-student kind of thing, yet some others want them to have a smooth lovestory where they are not constantly harrassed by a third person, and some do want an angsty love triangle.

Everyone's idea of progressive is also very different. Some want Deepika to remain single because its 21st century, its not necessary for her to be with a man. Some want her to be with Sathe because they want to see her breaking the chains of the stereotype. Yet, some others want someone entirely new, who loves and supports her for being her.

We all connect with her in different ways, have different ideas of how the love story can incorporate progressive thoughts.

Obviously not everyone's wishes can be fulfilled. Like I said, it comes down to how the makers handle it. If they do go for love triangle, and its shown in a nice manner, who knows, we might think it was the best route for the story!

But I like how you've give a new perspective on the love triangle route, makes me a bit more hopeful😃

Yes agree with you but then in other shows love triangle is stretched unnecessarily for drama and trps but here I think the makers will show a triangle in order to show comparison between dr Deepika's past and present where one didn't support her dreams while the latter understands her passion.

After today's episode I am quite sure Sinha and sathe are the endgame.

Also none of them here will be grey or negative. Each one has their own viewpoint but it's upto the viewers whom they support. In other shows , there are leads and one psychotic lover which really pisses me off.

Anyways let's hope they maintain the standard of the show instead of turning it into a regular drama.

Exactly not everyone's wishes can be fulfilled. Let's hope the makers maintain their standard and give us a good finite show which we can watch and enjoy till the end.

Personally ai really want to see how the story unfolds with abhay-deepika-vikrant bcs their dynamics are really interesting with each other and diff from others shows

No matter which way they choose all I want is not any cliche drama... rest I do have faith on the makers... and really wish they break the stereotype whether it's with older female or mentor-mentee relationship or a chance given to redeem oneself(Vikrant's case)

This is just my view and I completely respects urs😊

I am okay with the triangle but the main plot shouldn't be ignored .

Anything is ok till they focus and cover all aspects instead of showing only love affairs of the hospital

Yes it's upto the makers to show what they want to. I am all in .So far I have enjoyed and I hope makers are able to sustain interest in the viewers.

I think the medical stuff and Deepika's ambitions will remain the main plot, so I'm not too worried about a love triangle. Love triangles don't have to be written poorly. It can be just enough drama to keep it interesting without devolving into a soppy mess. And here, Deepika has legitimate reasons to be reserved against both men, one broke her heart and one is her junior and has a significant age difference. Also, both of them have issues with misogyny. I don't think it's going to be the kind of triangle where she's flitting back and forth between them, rather they will have to work hard to win her heart. Then we will see whose feelings are true.
