Malini is always at it. But after this step, it will be very hard to watch Imlie moving back with Aditya. He doesn't really deserve it.

I believe Imlie has not fallen in love really. The way she looked at Aryan when he was fighting, when he saves her from the 3 boys. Her look was something else. There is something there. I mean when they were not even speaking to each other properly Aditya called them friends , today he called them best friends who understand each other. Preview he called Aryan imlies boyfriend. I believe this is how they will go further. Imlie won't beg for love or anything . She will make her own life and one day even fall in love and decide who she wants as her life partner . Aparna said today their thoughts don't match and as Imlie rises she fears they will grow more apart. Let's see how destiny and journey pans out.

Frankly, I feel that Imlie comes from a background where the "Pati Parmeshwar" concept applies. Had her marriage not happened with Aditya, she was in love with her dreams that Satyakaam had seen for her, and she herself did. In fact, Satyakaam always maintained that you need to anchor yourself with education and then fly. That somewhere got lost after this marriage.

I know Imlie idolizes Aditya a lot for his principles as a journalist, but the problem is that in this equation, the role of the protector has been taken over by Imlie, where she has always been safeguarding him and saving his life. It should have been the opposite, considering Imlie's age. Also in terms of investment, Imlie has been deeply invested in this relation and the T family, receiving the bare minimum in return. Her own emotional naivete has put her in situations where she has had to face insinuations and insults, even by the very people, she calls "apne"

With Aryan coming into the picture, and I know many would not agree, but he is another Satyakaam for Imlie, but both don't realize that yet. He is mentoring her and honing her skills. Sometimes, by teaching her and sometimes by challenging her. He is pushing her for the same thing which Satyakaam was doing from Day 1 - To be self-sufficient in every way. He said right, "Khud karna chahti ho to khud karo; saabit karo apne aap ko". So he is doing that.

Coming to love, I feel her "falling in love" has to be organic. Sita maiyya ko manti hai iska matlab ye nahi ki Sita hi ban jaaye. A village belle that she is, she has grown up where its normal to "love the husband". Had this marriage not happened, Aditya would have been her inspiration or idol, nothing else. I want Imlie to traverse the entire length of what the journey of love looks like - friendship, partnership, love, and normalizing love after a failed/forced marriage. I want each and every sucker chew the nasty words they have spewed at her. I don't want a toxic AdiLie equation. I want something as organic as we are seeing with AryLie.

Yeah, you're right. It feels like a foreshadowing when you view it like that. Maybe Aditya's experience with Malini is also at play.

Honestly, isse jyaada ch**tiya logic by God kahin nahi suna, if this is the analysis that Patrakaar bhaiyya has made out of mere 4 interactions between AryLie. I am sorry, but ye banda chillam phoonkta hai kya??

Aditya very well knows that Imlie is capable of surviving without him, as she will be dying yet not come back to him. But that is about Imlie. Where does Aryan fit in here? Imlie hasn't taken any help, she has taken up Aryan's offer, on terms agreed by both. But that is something neither Aditya will nor want to understand.

Yeah, another soul to soul moment would be nice. Like when Aryan brought Imlie home, the conversation they had about pain. It was beautiful.

As for reason for divorce, that could be anything knowing Aditya. And did you notice that he had already signed them. He is such a coward.

As an aside, I feel like Imlie's jacket in the promo was a third character in the scene. As if the scene didn't have enough angst 😂

@bold: forgot to address this bit. But I think what I see in both the situations, is Imlie is just awed by the sheer fearlessness and confidence he has in himself and he will actually execute what he says. So she gets stunned to silence when she sees this side of his. She can handle him verbally, but in certain situations, she herself gets stumped. Also, I guess, she is not used to being protected by someone. It's something new for her also. What do you think?

Noticed everyone else felt mahaepi was a bit choppy, especially at the end. hard to follow the story map when they're just stringing things along like it's a last minute project 😆

I guess too that we are supposed to have some sympathy for Aditya because we see the tropes and know Aditya is not wrong in what Aryan will eventually mean for Imlie. The part that makes me facepalm is that Aditya isn't losing Imlie to another man, but he can't fathom the relationship ending for any other reason, so he's making it all about Aryan. He's missing the point and ensuring that she will never come back to him.
