@bold: Anu already was in awe of Anuj, she did compliment Anuj a few times borderline flirting actually😆. Fida toh wo thihi, in fact she has been openly advocating his presence in her life, caring for him, affectionately daant laga di hai a few times.

Her heart is full of everything that forms the basis for her to fall for him. And now she knows that love exists from Anuj along with her world which she looks at as moral compass is pro MaAn (Devika, Samar and final push from Bapuji) she is putting herself out there by making chocolate fudge for chocolate himself 😳 without anyone asking for it. Her ways of exploring and expressing her feelings would be typical coz she has expressed it by care only in her previous relationship. See Anu clearly agrees fikra hai and justifies herself that honi bhi chahie, that’s a step in right direction, she is just getting comfortable with fall she is heading towards

Secondly she had mentioned in earlier episodes, she doesn’t consider loving someone a bad thing also she doesn’t consider her being in 40’s a mom or a MIL as reasons not to move on, so if they show her battling herself on these grounds it would be contradictory. Her reason of not thinking of any romantic relationship was fear of betrayal again, if that assurance comes with rest of her world approving it Anu will progress without hesitation and I think that’s right thing to show as well, sparing audiences the same usual self fighting melodrama and dilemma. MaAn being experienced with life they would and should process their feelings better and quicker with clarity than teenagers or youngsters.

It also means no dragged tracks and they could show her professional journey with romantic one settled in time. I am all for it. Hope makers don’t disappoint by showing some Anuj illness track and all (plz don’t)🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞When Anuj’s big confession promo aired I had felt it toooo early but it all played out well and now I think confession was perfectly timed. So hoping that makers know where they are heading😊

You have said it so perfectly! Yes anu had already recognized the goodness and purity of heart in anuj and was unknowingly little inclined towards him even before she knew of his love. Now after the push from bapuji that has come at just the right time she is in the appreciation and approval stage. She has still some way to go before she can be in love. This stage coming so quickly on the heels of anuj's confession actually shows that anu was not completely indifferent to him I think, we saw all those lovely scenes of them bonding na? And I agree that anu being a mature woman would process her emotions more quickly and with clarity and so there needn't be any stage of confusion and struggle. After seeing yesterday's epi of anu looking differently at anuj, I thought back to her words on the mandir steps that you have mentioned and was so glad she is such a sensible, sorted woman without silly and outdated inhibitions regarding love despite her being a little old fashioned..

So yeah this is just fine, I hope though that devika doesn't rush her and spoil everything..

bold: Exactly that sets Anu apart from the lot, from whatever I have seen in last three months, like Devika had said Anupama is progressive yet regressive, she needs push to take first step but once she is convinced there is no stopping her she will flow freely. Remember Devika had to lecture her with sharp words to say yes for partnership but once she went through the actual experience and people involved, only in matter of few days Anupama literally jumped compound to make sure her work moves ahead.
Bapuji’s words validated her moving on so much so that a whole new Anupama hidden till now is coming out. Her “uninhibitedly seeing Anuj” “thinking of him in every free second she gets from of her daily chaos” or “today’s chocolate fudge first attempt” it’s all her exploring this new phase. Let her enjoy and will enjoy seeing them together ☺️

And Devika ka rush is understandable though unnecessary, she is Anuj’s friend as well so she will tend to jump the gun to see fruits of her Cupid duties 😊

Yes indeed, such a dear is anupama... flowing freely, with dignity and grace.. (even when she's jumping compound walls!😛)

I wonder if the characters of anu and anuj are as beautifully and finely drawn in the bengali og? I am amazed, impressed with these cvs, didn't expect such a wonderful love story on an Indian soap.
