Caroline is not my favourite, specially not in season 1 but her growth graph over the time is phenomenal. Moreover, I ship Caroline with a character that will be introduced in the upcoming episodes, so I dont really like her with Matt.

i also love the brotherly bond between damon and stefan its evident they don't hate each other even if they say so

Matt is Meh all along but plays a major role in one episode (of whatever I have watched of the show)

I am quite pissed that they didn't really work on giving screen space to Elena and Jeremy together.

btw i know caroline is gonna be shipped with klaus a friend told me i dont know who he is just the name but apparently them and delena are the top two ships

one question -does katherine genuinely love stefan? abhi tak lag toh aisa hi rahan hain her love for him is genuine but she's so selfish and manipulative maybe she's lying

btw i got quite the shock when i got to know damon kissed katherine not elena in s1 end that was such a shocking revelation

the problem with me is that I end of shipping the non end game couple more often than not, and then feel sad about it.

To answer your question: I think that she truly loved Stephan but she had to put herself first and be the survivor that she was, also she is " so selfish and manipulative"

Also, right before this scene you will see one of the scenes showing why I ship Stelena- Katherine could fool Damon into believing that she is Elena and kissed him but Stefan loved Elena so much that Katherine couldn't fool him.
