Kiara Advani opened up about one of the most personal chapters of her life while speaking at the Chennai pre-release event of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The actor, who plays Nadia in the Yash-starrer, recalled her pregnancy days during the making of the film and revealed how Yash and director Geetu Mohandas stood by her throughout the journey.

Kiara’s Pregnancy News Was Met With Emotional Support

Kiara shared that Yash and Geetu were among the very first people outside her family to know about her pregnancy. Instead of worrying about how her personal milestone would affect the film’s schedule, the duo celebrated the news with her.

The actor recalled how their reaction left a lasting impression on her. She said they welcomed the news with smiles and emotional eyes, assuring her that they would make the experience memorable rather than stressful. Kiara also remembered being encouraged to come to set, stay comfortable and eat whatever she wanted.

For Kiara, that support went far beyond the usual actor-director relationship. She credited Yash and Geetu for creating an environment where she felt confident about continuing her work during such a major phase of her life.
