For all those who are disappointed with episode/Anuj

Disclaimer before I express my opinion- this rant is not hurled at anyone specific so pls dont take it personally🙏

Seems like many of them have a problem with how Anu and Anuj reacted over Toshu's nonsense. Let me make one thing clear...I as a viewer wanted to beat the crap out of Toshu with that same hockey stick Anuj mentioned but lets give the situation a perspective.

Consider yourself in Anuj's place..forget you are a millionaire and blah blah..you are at your best friends place and his/her family is screaming and yelling at her. What would you do? Lets face it!! 90% of us would wait for the situation to diffuse and then unconditionallt support your friend with whatever they need at the moment. The remaining 10% gutsy ones may interfere and request the family to back off but no one and I mean NO ONE would raise their hand at a friends family. Period!!

If you are expecting Anuj to slap toshu for a dramatic effect or from an itv show perspective, then I genuinely rest my case and am with you guys on this a 100%. Anupamaa as show is a more realistic take at a woman's struggles and abuse..atleast they try to be( of course they do show a fair share of nonsense and I wont argue against that).

Anuj very clearly said in the beginning to GK that he lost a chance at expressing his love to Anu due to his violent behaviour( the whole admitted in hospital and bunty scooter story) and he vowed to never resort to violence no matter what may come his way!! He already lives in guilt that his behaviour cost him his love and he will not dare to bring that side of him unless Anu herself cannot handle it. Also I see todays outburst as Maans progression.

Until now, he did NOT have any right to interfere in her matters but over time he knew he had the right and moreover Anu gave him that right. Today what we saw was probably a glimpse of Anuj's revival. I do agree that as a fan even I have been disappointed many times before while he stood helplessly with angry looks but today is not that day.

No matter how angry you are, the person you love the most asks you to calm down, you will calm down!! I have seen that first hand in my life so Anuj stopping himself for Anu is understandable and people who are complaining of how could Anu let Toshu talk such nonsense...arrey if he doesnt say his piece how will we know the level of stinkiness his character has. We dont have 6th sense..the writers will have to let Toshu puke all rubbish the society thinks of 40 plus woman before unleashing Anu. Honestly I am proud of Anu too...I still remember episodes where Vanraj closed the door on her, was called an embarasment by toshu and V..and now she is the same person who pushed V when he held her hand( the one after Kavya was fired) and jumped across the wall to say loud and clear that there is no stopping her!! How is all this not progress..if she has left that hell hole of a house and live on her own...she will also get to a place when Baa will mean nothing to her..give it time people!!

Sorry for the long post but I still genuinely feel we had a good episode today.

You said what has been in my mind and I have said it too many times too today!! Aasaan nahin hota for people. As a viewer i too want to act/react instantly but as a receiver of that nature and with those emotions I feel both are right in their place. Waiting for the next 2-3 episodes, mainly her actions...hahaha

But Samar holding her after confession is making me worry a little, par lets see kya hota hai

We are from different walks of life and we will have different ways in handling situations.

Here it's about anu and it's perfectly justified.

Even I complained why she was quiet for so long

But realised it's itv so obviously toshu had to spit out the entire venom no wonder anu disowns him nothing is more painful for a mother to stand on the opp side of your son . U can against an ex even in laws her baa bakri I genuinely have a prob with

But with toshu as a mom of a son myself I understand how hurting it must be

And pls progression has definitely happened

Baby steps at a time she will get there

Loved the post . I believe too that it is too early for her to forgot the folks that her life revolved around. Vanraj doesn't matter to her any more. After the spouse she has the longest relationship with her parents in law. By repeatedly reminding her HUMNE

ye kiya, wo kiya whatever they did to her has been indelibly stamped in her consciousness. She is unable to let go of her memories with Leela. She has to be reprogrammed for her to stop the rant.

A mother is attached to whoever is missing. Just recall you attend a function,If someone from the family has not joined it is noticed at once . Toshu is the one emotionally distanced from her and also prone to panic attacks so definitely she misses him. It is very tough for a mother to raise her hand and slap married so in front of his wife.
