I think I have made peace with the fact that I don't expect too much from actors off screen. End of the day they will also do what is best for their career. They wouldn't mess with someone powerful & jeopardize their career. I don't take what celebs say seriously in off screen interviews also. As long as they look the part & act well and the show is good, all is well. It's great Erica made this post & the show is ending because of this but that's it. Not reading or analysing too much into this. Good riddance is all 🤪

Ekta however she is as a person... treats her artists really well. People feel compelled (?) or they actually end up respecting her after working with her. I doubt Erica was treated badly in KZK2. In fact if I remember... EK went all out promoting KZK2. I was annoyed at EK back then due to this coz she was ignoring my then liked actress 😆 (SJ in N3) . So there was no scope of her ever going against EK. Even if some issue was there... I'm sure they would've come to a decision regarding this. EK isn't as tone deaf as this PH.

I think issue was that these actors (almost entire industry) blindly supported him just because Ekta did. It's such a sensitive issue & when you aren't privy to the facts, it's best not to comment on it. Saying he is a nice person/a good friend etc in that situation is really insensitive and tone deaf. But then again, Bollywood is in full solidarity with Salman Khan & Sanjan Dutt. TV industry is more or less the same so you can't really expect anything else from any of them

Exactly. One should not comment on such sensitive issues till everything is clear... especially these celebs. Thankfully when this was going on ... I was completely detached from ITV. So didn't get much updates else I would not have watched this season.

I was so disappointed with Shaheer & Erica for supporting Pearl (though I don't have high expectations from actors to begin with) but I still watched this season out of attachment for Dev and Sonakshi. That was probably my cue to not start this season but I ignored it 😆

That was not for ekta. Pearl is friend of her. Any friend would come to defend until crime convicted. Even I would do same. I will not beleive if any 3rd person accuse my close one. But definitely I will not support if he/She proven to b guilty. Dont know why fandom always jump on eri. And hardly Other fandom bashing their idol for the same. I must say ejfians are one kind😆

My fav actress...my most fav person in this industry...is close to Bhai. There itself it hurts but I also understand her situation... been a fan since 2006...so I've made peace with the fact that this particular aspect of her I have to learn to ignore lol.... I have no other option.

I can understand. Sometimes the celebs we like do something that we do not condone. I make peace with myself thinking that they are also human and are bound to make mistakes. They have their own perspectives. That's it. Iske aage aur kya kar sakte hai lol.

When someone is being accused of rape, you do not blindly go and defend them just because he/she is your friend. Just because someone is nice to you, doesn't mean they behave the same with everyone else. And when you are a celeb with clout, it's all the more important that you do not blindly support someone when they are accused of something this grave. And this is not just about Erica. It is about Shaheer, Ekta & every single celeb who supported Pearl. Were any of these ppl present in the shooting spot? To say someone is a great human and incapable of doing this is essentially shamming the victim. When you don't know what has happened, it's best to stay silent. Am neither a Shaheer fan or an Ejfian. I really liked them in Kuch Rang but they were completely in the wrong here
