I made sure the popcorn is kosher so he’ll be fine. 🥰

i dont see any beauty in karwachauth if its only wife fasting for her husband s long life while huband does not and i dont understand kanyadaan so will refrain from speaking on it
having said that i agree hindu religion is very liberal in lot of ways ( and regressive in other ways) it was even more liberal in ancient times we went from celebrating and worshiping every human emotion including kama to not talking about it in name of 'sanskar' the main reason for this being the mughal and british invasions
even calling your husband 'my lord" and not taking their name does not comes under "hindu sanskar" if one reads ancient text both draupadi and sita called their spouse by given name
also with all due respect i would like to see the reaction if any other religions revered figures called names that krishna gets called on daily basis or songs like "kalanki so and so" in the name of "creative liberty" and "freedom of speech" made about them kalanki means disgraceful bawal ho jayega
Loved your comment. Never knew the information you have shared.
Also in my previous thread someone said that ncert books didn't mention Tipu as bigot.
I remember an incident where it was mentioned that one Mughal rules donated for building temple and people filed RTI for it and ncert replied that they have no idea about it.
We have been feed utter sh*t since years in the name of history.
People banned movie made on Mohammad and it was I guess a praising one but there is a movie titled raavan leela where the guy who is playing Ravan is romancing lady who is portraying sita in a play. So much liberty to express different views in Hinduism but you can't utter a word against islam .

I already had entire discussion on beauty if Karwachauth in past threads. Dont have the energy to repeat but will share the link if I can find it. Karwachauth isn't about just fasting. :(
Exactly my point its so easy pick on hindu relgion because it wont revert back like other religions but it will self reflect and improve for a better living in the society.
Deepika se setting karlo, rs bach jayenge maal ke
Deepika se setting ho gayi toh maal kaun peyega🤣
Kosher is to Jews as Halal is to Muslims. Food that complies with dietary requirements of Judaism.
Let me give some useful inputs for a change...
Kosher is a term to describe any food that complies with a strict set of dietary rules in Judaism. These rules are called kashrut. Not all Jewish people observe the rules of kashrut by eating kosher food. For those who do, it is a way to show reverence to God and feel connected to their faith and their communities

Damn it. Why did you post the actual section from the internet? Now everyone will know I copied and pasted my answer above. For once, I wanted to seem knowledgeable in these kind of posts 😠

After reading the words - complies, dietary requirements - I knew you copied the answer 😛
You seem knowledgeable to me otherwise also... except when you go on and on about HR and Aish...
