I dont think its a sacrifice.Sacrifice would be if he was told he is surely the winner and will get 25L and he gives up that and takes up BB15.

He took a chance .When u dont know what would have happened if u woud have stayed ( win or lose) and u choose BB15, its a chance....not sacrifice

Agreed 100%. For him he thinks BB main is another platform for him to be known more for future work. Nothing wrong with it. But sadly people are under illusions that he would have won etc had he not taken the bag.

When he competes with known names and does tasks the way he does he not going to sway a lot of new supporters either to make up the difference and may even lose some. He has gotten a chance to reflect and make some changes but I don’t think he is doing much of that as he ignored his own sisters advise.

But then, what was the point of giving him an option to "take the bag and give up on the race, i.e., actually drive him away from the race," if the runner-ups (Nishant, Shamita, Rakesh + the winner + the eliminated contestants) will be allowed to enter the main season?

To me, it looks like a poorly designed / managed task with no real meaning behind it.

He says hes taken to achieve a bigger passion but let me tell you he basically knew he won’t win the show. Lol

Yes, that was the idea of his strategy to make Divya's life hell until the very end of the show, because that was the only he could have remained relevant in the show. He was unsure if the eliminated contestants would return to the main house. He was also unsure if he would win the show. So, for him to remain relevant in the show, taking the bag and securing a spot in the main game show was his only way out.
