I think the two incidents were introduced to justify Sai's meltdown. They wanted to show a maha dramatic scene as is their wont. Emon was very rude and sharp-tongued - but Sai is much toned down. So they needed justification for Sai's outburst - so they upped her emotional vulnerability factor by the two incidents. That's what I feel.

I'm still thinking about the kiss. Not very sure on that one. Because I understand that it is contradictory. On one hand she is jittery and on the other she was ready for a kiss. Somebody explain please.

This is something even I am not able to understand..!!

I just think the reaction would not have been this grave.. They would have fought but would have resolved it then and there itself.. This reaction has come out because of two incidents.. I am keeping apart EMon and copy pasting separate here...Just talking about Sai and Virat..Also Emon and ROno did not have the intimate moments that Sai and Virat had, even if we consider the day before..

With all the patch up they had, will Sai be this angry and behave like today if not for those 2 incidents. Virat would have immeidately confessed. Do you think once he confessed and they had consummated today, will Sai not be assured? They would have talked everything openly.

Writers wanted to show that the fate intervened and pushed them back.

Yes that subtly showed that she was expectant of 'something' not sure what.

She would have been mad that he lied and all but it would have not become this ugly.

The kiss was nothing new. Every time Virat has tried to be intimate with her, she has openly reciprocated. Her feelings towards Virat are very real, whether she accepts them or not. Physical attraction is one part of love, and you cannot control it. She lets herself go and give in whenever such moments arise. She lets herself believe in the truth of this marriage. It wasn't just the kiss, but it was also the entire waterfall date... the way she was dancing with him, laughing with him, and even when she woke up realizing they were basically cuddling on the bench, it was natural for her. She was once again letting herself fall. This was all right after Virat begged her to stay with him... again, reinforcing the reality of this relationship. However, the anniversary texts from Pari and Usha Mausi started a downward spiral... once again, she was reminded of the zimidari... she was already down about that, and the landslide of the story + the trigger of the yoga instructor came....

I just responded and tagged you. What are you referencing when you say jittery by the way? I'm not understanding.... are you talking about how she was jittery about coming on the trip? Let me know and I can try to think about it and give my perspective.

no one is a saint. She loves the man and she responds the way she should. It is involuntary and subconscious. That moment they get carried away is the truth of their emotions. Rest of the time is all emotional jargon…the lies they weaved out of their insecurities.

I have updated my comment..Honestly I am also angry at Sai for being so insensitive and rude to him... But then I also get back to who is there in that whole room to understand her insecurities..None ..None at all..

I'm not too sure about that. Because she was already upset when she got the anniversary text messages. The anniversary itself is a trigger for her.... the anniversary itself was already bringing her back to the "reality" of the zimidari even before the kaands on Lover's Point happened. Had Lover's Point not happened and had they gone straight to the anniversary celebration, her question would have remained- how can they celebrate a relationship that does not exist? At this point in time, Sai does not need a confession... she needs affirmation in this relationship and clarity about the past as a prerequisite to accepting both her and Virat's feelings. If Virat were to clear things up for her, she would automatically realize that what he is doing for her is love.... because she sees it even now, but is just unable to label it as such.

I agree that her outburst would have been way tamer, because the pain of hearing the story and the stupid yoga instructor's nonsense would not have been fresh in her mind. But, she would have still gotten angry. If he had confessed, she would have asked him- how can there be love in a relationship that isn't even real?

See, Virat isn't going to clarify any of this.... so now, Samrat is going to be trigger that finally clarifies the past for Sai. Only once she has tackled the past will she be able to accept the reality of this marriage, and only then will she realize her love...

Sai is just like Virat in this regard. She is emotionally impulsive. She does not think before speaking. Both of them spew BS at each other in the heat of the moment without realizing how it is going to impact the other person. This is why they butt heads and get into such chaotic arguments all of the time. I can't even blame her today... all of her insecurities and fears she had been bottling up came bursting out... but of course it went all over Virat's head, because the way in which she came across completely shattered him. Neither one of them are to be blamed here. But, I do hope we get an apology scene from Sai to Virat, because her words crossed the limit today.

Jittery about going to the trip as husband wife. She was snappy and irritable. But on thinking again, Sai willing to kiss is not very contradictory. Because she was only feeling restless, irritable and not really vulnerable to the point of freaking out at the start of the trip. So she might have given in to her feelings - both during the kiss and their romantic date.

Ok let me rephrase what I felt, If not for the 2 incidents sai would have been angry but not at this level… and virat would have chance yo tell more or try more.

Remove KD from headspace and see. KD will make this event look inevitable so we are justifying the fight.

Just look at the emotional levels after patch up. Also the writers changed the person from yoga retreat interaction to later why? All the dialogue exchange sai and virat had before that stupid story… especially sai telling that the girl from the story came to the spot because she loves him!!! That’s how Sai’s mental state was!

For once, writers tried to convey something close to sai and virats characters…I believe. But they did make virat dumber with that story . They got carried away in their pursuit to show Sai’s character arc correctly 😅
