To emphasise how much I don’t care about names, I wanted to name my imaginary first newborn ‘Iblis’ only because I liked the sound of it. Of course, I got my ass swatted for wanting to name my non-existent child after Satan (🤣). My general point is, if a couple genuinely likes a name and the meaning associated with it, then who cares. So long as the intention was a genuine liking and not to spur up people’s sentiments - which in this case cannot be proven.
We need to move on from the past and live in the current world. We already have ongoing issues in the present that should be focused on, rather than causing an uproar over a man who existed 452 years ago. But that’s my opinion and everyone is welcome to their own. Thank you for listening to me. 🙏
