I finally binged the last 3 episodes (in less than 10 minutes) 😆 and honestly, Shivi’s bedroom scenes are the only thing that I absolutely adore right now. Its only here that I can see them working on their relationship. I think its because it reminds me of their previous scenes, and I feel like they close a loop with each scene.❤️

In their first fight scene, Shiva is still hurt and angry at Raavi and lashes out, first with the smell vala taunt, then ki she doesn’t have any haq on him. He can’t figure out why she’s still with him because he doesn’t understand the concept of settling. 🤔 At this point, Raavi ka funda is that shadi ho gayi hai and they have to learn to tolerate each and live together. But shiddat se nafrat karne vala Shiva ko yeh funda nahi samaj aata. That’s why after Raavi says ki usse smells ki 'aadat' ho gayi, he decides ki woh hi chala jaega.💔 And, kudos to him ki family and society ke pressure se he doesn’t give in. tho superficially Raavi still cares about appearances, she doesn’t realize ki Shiva ab zarurat bantaja raha hai. Kab realise hoga…who knows?

The next bit with the lamp was a bit reminiscent of different haveli bits. First with the kangan drama where Shiva had hurt her emotionally than physically. 💔Just like that time, Shiva ne anjaane mein Raavi ko hurt kiyawith the lamp. But this time, when he realized it, he quickly rushed to her…yea, ghusse mein daata bhi, but concern khulam khula dikhaya. Its a reflex to care for her now ❤️

Plus, he then hurts himself to protect Raavi from some light. We’ve already seen this behavior from him before (khandar, kidnapping, etc)… so I won’t call this foreshadowing …but Raavi ka protective reaction towards him tho was expected for us, I think was surprising for him ….for a moment he’s pleased with it but then he probably remembers all the aadat bit and walks away from her. 💔

Ek baat toh clear, jab tak Raavi doesn’t get clarity about her feelings and tell him that, Shiva will keep pushing her away. Raavi will have to make the first move to get her bhootnath back.

---

For the second bedroom scene, pehle toh, loll at Raavi’s nautankiand that they’re no longer sleeping in different directions or have pillowwalls. 😆 But, of course, hurt Shiva doesn’t want to engage with her at all 😆 But then also, he cannot resist his chipkali for too long either 😆 isliye, even tho he was first sleeping on his side, curled in a defensive ball, chipkali ne ek baar haqse turn hone ko kya kaha, ek dam fel kar so gaye. 😆

The best bit was Shiva ne saari nautanki tolerate ki and jatayabhi nahi ke Raavi needed him to feel safe. Samaj definitely aaya, isliye that shechu taunt 😆 But he was more happy to know that his wife needed and wanted him, and that was enough for him to just give in to her quietly. His small smile when he saw her finally sleeping was sukoon

Contrast his with the haveli waking up scene when she quietly held his leg and he taunted her, this was progress from both sides. ❤️

---

There were also some small family scenes that I almost missedin my ff mode.😆 I think those are primarily to build the conflict between Shivi...but they don’t stick out to me for different reasons. Some interesting bits tho –

1. Shirt nakal vala scene with the all thebrothers.

First off, it reminded me of Raavi’s pre-wedding nakal valascene with her shadi ka dress. 😆 Tab when she laughed at him, ghusse mein nikalgaya. But ab he’s hurt and he’s using his anger to mask that hurt. This is whatcarried forward in their bedroom scene later on. 🤔

Vaise, I didn’t quite understand ki joke kya tha that everyone was laughing achanak se she’s touching his face... and then her own... and then everyone laughs…I thought editing mein kuch lafda tha and so I moved on.

2. Chor police ki baad vala scene when he returns home

Shiva ki becoming super protective of her. Raavi did subconsciously know ki Shiva uski vajah se ghar se bahar gaya tha...isliye she gives her safayi first…Shiva knows ki his gadhedi still has no idea ki problem kya hai 🤔 isliye he doesn’t contradict her either, and makes a random excuse. I’m just glad they didn’t broadcast their fight, and Raavi tried to make things normal in her twisted way in their bedroom later.

Again, I think the writers will keep on building this communication gap between them… pata nahi how long they will stretch the highpoint tho…

Apologies if all this has already been discussed. But shivi scenes still make me happy.

Now for the side rant.

Why in the world have they turned this room construction into a major “saazish” plot???? Like, why did they just show Gaura sacrifice, and the token conflict scenes with Rishita’s bathroom demand and Suman’s fall if they didn’t want to follow through with it???

I was hoping that they would use the room construction as a plot device to focus on the relationships instead They could’ve focused on Dev/Rishita issues with Dev’s Bhabhi vale ultimatums…they could’ve escalated Shivi’s fights because they couldn’t agree with each other…Heck, I would’ve even watched it if they showed Suman/Dhara/Gaumbi conflict.

But turning it into a “saazish”(a very stupid and pointless one too) is mindboggling I anyways don’t like these saazish type shows and so really, I couldn’t care less about their “room crisis”and how it gets resolved

Again, apologies if this was too much. Normally, I try not to talk about things that I don’t like, because really, why waste energy on things I can’t change…but today I just need to get it out of my system.

I agree with most of your points.

I think Shiva does understand the concept of settling- very well in fact. And therein lies the problem. It is terrible being the Consolation Prize- and that is how Shiva feels.

He does not want Raavi to be like- ohh ok now that this has happened, let's just live with this. I feel very Michmichi myself when I hear this 😕 It sounds more like losing a leg in an accident- my life is terrible but I will find happiness where I can.

He is wonderful human being and deserves to be appreciated, cherished and loved not tolerated.

And if this is Raavi's attitude then Shiva makes perfect sense- why not just leave and marry someone more educated/good-looking/settled. She can anyways adjust to that person the way she is adjusting so "painfully"(in Shiva's mind) to him, and as an added bonus, no taunts from friends/family members.

Ofc as viewers we can probably gauge that Raavi is a bit more smitten with both he or she would believe- but from Shiva's point of view she is just tolerating him and getting by in life. You might say that they should talk it out- but think from the poor guy's perspective. He is young, probably never thought of marriage or what he wants/expects from a wife, and ended marrying his brother's fiance. To top things off he falls in love with her- imagine how much he needs to process. He is also barely getting by- and the most baffling aspect is none of the so called elders seem to care beyond "Just move on and make it work". What can he even talk in all this? Where would he even start?

Rishitha and Raavi need counselling... pfft, ask them to step aside- Shiva needs an army of therapists.

@bold- agreed.

What I meant is that Shiva ko tolerate karne vali shadi manjur nahi hai, and definitely hone bhi nahi chahiye. ITV always makes a big deal ki shadi hogayi toh nibhana padega. But yahan for him to say ki jaa, jee le apni zindagi is completely him and something I definitely want to watch as well. I'm totally on board with him pushing her away, and for Raavi to make the first move.

Plus, she really has no goals or opinions about her life. She just goes with the flow. And so, I really want her to actively decide to be with him, just like she orchestrated her marriage. I've been waiting for them to choose to be together since the kangan drama. I thought after the diary drama, there'll be some major shift in her behaviour apart from just saying ki she's moved on...but I guess dilli bohot durr hai. Plus, they keep diluting it with this other random stuff.

P.S everyoneeeee needs counselling in that family 🤪

Even side characters need counselling- Maami, Jannu, Motiben, Anita 🤣

Only Kaka, Hardik and Maama are sorted. Kaka and Hardik because of their respective Kaki(aka alcohol). Mama- well god knows how he is ok. BTW he is happily sleeping while Anita is missing from home and Maami is worried sick 🤣 That's it- Mama is sorted becausr of Beauty Sleep

Beautiful post! I agree with everything you said

Raavi is going with the flow. too much.. thankfully ShiVi began communicating today! Raavi is starting to realize how much the diary affected Shiva, and he clearly spelled it out for her that he thinks she wants something else in her life partner, so I hope Raavi takes steps towards understanding the problem and fixing it now

The first step has to come from her, Shiva can't/won't take it

@bold- yes, just saw it. Thank God for that

I'm hopeful it continues tomorrow. But I'm low-key prepared for next 2 episodes to be fillers/troll content 😆
