An actor cannot go into that space without being told, since it might appear that he/she is being a leech to the other actor.. The closeness in romantic scenes is completely on the director. My opinion though...Honestly the pinning scene, the almost kiss scene is actually such a let down, considering how during the Virat Pakhi scenes in the same episode, the actors were more close to each other.. Here the actors wont feel/realise the closeness as they are dating.

However the handhold scene and what that happened yesterday..I expect NB as well to improvise it since he understands his character.. Virat would never want to go that close patralekha..NB is a veteran and he improvises his scenes at so many places that expecting him to understand Virat and maintain that distance with Patralekha, when director is not paying attention is not a big deal.

@Bold: The hand pinning scene was such a disaster. How did they even finalize the scene?? Virat was standing 3 feet away from Sai and talking to the camera half the time. It was the worse hand pinning scene in history of ITV.

Vankar has directed the best hand pinning in ither shows. What has happened to him now??

I felt the same in that scene 🤣🤣

He was actually standing as far behind as he could but isn't the directors supposed to notice these things?? It keeps on happening again and again.

It is being portrayed that virat trying to maintain safe distance from his own wife but don't mind going to his ex's private space whenever he wants. What opinion should we make about such character. All these affects virat character & show a LOT.

But u support her in those actions too. Don't think he really corrected her in private. Otherwise she would have changed her behaviour by now. She still speaks ill about sai character, rile up fans wantedly. Sorry to say neil aishwarya thing can't be compared with sairat. Aishwarya antics are disrespectful to fl(sometimes) & fans not to him.

While I do agree with your don't support when they are wrong part, I would also like too pount out, that all these posts and him agreeing with her, are about those fans who are actually toxic, and they do exist, and they don't deserve to be appreciated.

As for her misbehaving with Sai fans, that I also agree with. Aish is, more often than not, disrespectful, but Neil too more often than not, agree with those where she is telling off the tocxic fans. And as I mentioned, in my previous reply, Neil cannot exactly oppose her openly, both as q life partner and as a co-actor. And as I also mentioned before, Neil sometimes go wrong, and it all feels a bit more like a defence than truly his opinion. And unfortunately, we can't exactly say that him feeling defensive is wrong.

Plus, I wasn't exactly thinking about Aish in my post. I completely agree with those who say that she is disrespectful towards fans, because she is. But I was just pointing out that Neil is not, and whenever we feel like he is, it is something where we have to acknowledge other factors too. So, that is why I felt that the story about him blocking fans just because they asked for Sairat pics was weird.

I am not saying that he can't do that, because at the end I don't actually know him, but then no one else does either. All I am saying is that him sometimes agreeing with Aish, even when she is wrong, is understandable when we see it in their perspective, and keeping in mind all the other responsibilities Neil might have, being her fiancé and her co-actor.

I don't think anyone from ph is serious about the show now. They are too lazy to observe such important things. They are getting trp so they don't care about anything. It is stupid of us to expect anything from the director who forget to say cut to someone's portrayal as devi tai while don't mind saying cut when mitali plays same character.

Yeah I heard about it too. But, I just can't help but feel like there is more to that story. This excuse for blocking is just way too lame for it to be actually true. I am not saying that it can't be but it is a bit fishy. I get sometimes Neil speaks or posts something which doesn't really go well with the fans (for example, the time when he posted about the harrassment one- he posted against fans who say that Pakhi harrasses Virat), and it does sometimes get a bit irritating, but at the end of the day, he do care about his fans. And many times he do promote SaiRat.

If we actually think about it, Neil usually interferes when fans speak harshly about Aishwarya, and to be honest, isn't that what we usually want with Virat? To speak for his significant other? Even if sometimes she js wrong, but still we want Virat to stand with her when she is facing the world, and to correct her when they are alone. I feel like Neil also does the same, and tbh, I kind of like that.

But, that still doesn't excuse rude behaviour towards fans, something which Aishwarya quite often do, and sometimes even Neil. And that is why I feel like this story is not completely true. Because Neil usually gets all defensive when someone speaks against his or Aishwarya's relationship, or behaves rudely with Aish, and this person did neither of them, so it makes no sense for him to react the way they say he did.

There is no comparison at all between Virat defending Sai and Neil defending Aiswarya as others pointed out. Sai most of the times stands for truth and we want Virat to support her then.

In the other case the lady in question is abusive, ill mannered and crosses SM norms. So defending her would never be taken in good sense, right?

So I'm clubbing my answer to your reply to me.

It's not like I have not noticed the closeness in family scenes. But who is supposed to make them conscious of it, the director! Of course you can say they themselves should know the nuances of body language of their own characters. If none of the people around correct them or make them conscious of it, upto what point can we as fans protest ?? & Neil is fantastic at subtleties. If he himself does not realise it, what can we fans do??

My gut feeling tells me there's more to this than we are seeing. But we will never know.

I have tried everything... blocked the actors, blocked fan pages. Ultimately I love Sairat scenes and I realise thats my only vested interest in this serial!

What you have said above is very true, the PH, the whole team in general is complacent because of the huge success. Their next big track is Samrat's return. I really hope they don't mess it it up.

I think I will check out after that track. By then they would've celebrated one year!

I got immune to Aish's PDA since Neil never made me see Neil in Virat. So it's just Sairat and Neilwarya for me.

I understand. But it is about ml character & lead pair. So we can't ignore the proximity between ml & pl even if we try to . Because It is becoming very obvious onscreen. What all I'm seeing on show is ml being concious around fl while being so comfortable in pl proximity with whom she shared a past & know her current intentions. We always appreciated actors when they improvised their scenes for good so we can point out their mistakes when they are letting their personal equations affect scenes. Moreover many times fans complained about this issue but neither the makers nor the actors seem to care about it.
