Yeah I heard about it too. But, I just can't help but feel like there is more to that story. This excuse for blocking is just way too lame for it to be actually true. I am not saying that it can't be but it is a bit fishy. I get sometimes Neil speaks or posts something which doesn't really go well with the fans (for example, the time when he posted about the harrassment one- he posted against fans who say that Pakhi harrasses Virat), and it does sometimes get a bit irritating, but at the end of the day, he do care about his fans. And many times he do promote SaiRat.

If we actually think about it, Neil usually interferes when fans speak harshly about Aishwarya, and to be honest, isn't that what we usually want with Virat? To speak for his significant other? Even if sometimes she js wrong, but still we want Virat to stand with her when she is facing the world, and to correct her when they are alone. I feel like Neil also does the same, and tbh, I kind of like that.

But, that still doesn't excuse rude behaviour towards fans, something which Aishwarya quite often do, and sometimes even Neil. And that is why I feel like this story is not completely true. Because Neil usually gets all defensive when someone speaks against his or Aishwarya's relationship, or behaves rudely with Aish, and this person did neither of them, so it makes no sense for him to react the way they say he did.

She calls fans RIP toxic people, sick & cheap. If a spouse endorses the same that’s a skewed, petty view. Taking a stand is desirable but for right reasons. Him supporting her if she is harassed online might be appreciable but this NO. She even added sexual harassment to it to spin her narratives

In Sai- Virat we are expecting him to take a stand against abuse. These two aren’t same.

General response to this POST:

Neil- Aishwarya posting on SM with or without costumes- their choice. One can block if they dislike. It’s their life. They block fans, it’s their loss. If fans cross a limit its upto them to decide what to do

Yesterday closeness between them in vira-khi scene, them standing very close to each other that their shoulder touched each other's in vira-khi confrontation scene during sairat separation. In hall scenes u will find them standing next to each other for no reason even though he has sai standing next to him. In solo sairat scenes too sairat has min 2 feet distance though it is emotional or romantic scene but u will find virakhi standing very close to each other in their scenes. If we watch virat in sairat hug scene or their selfie scene in college we may find virat being less comfortable being compared with his closeness to pakhi in vira-khi scenes. These are small things but it makes so much difference to characters & story. When u always find the proximity between two people either in alone scenes or family scenes they will give u couple vibes. Ironically sairat always maintains social distance even that scene supposed to be intense & requires their proximity. For eg: virat wiping sai tears, trying to kiss her in harini birthday, wall pinning etc. Their PDA in virat pakhi costumes can definitely affect people that's different case .Their couple PDA in show costumes can't be compared with other cast members pics with them. If we get enough sairat content onscreen with zero creativity for virakhi no offscreen PDA can affect us. But unfortunately that's not the case here. 240+ episodes still we have to give excuses to justify virat actions towards pakhi & his love for sai. I won't agree real equations not affecting onscreen scenes. We already has enough examples.

@Bold: I don't know what the real issue is here, if it is the director who doesn't care about Sairat scenes or something else but I have felt the same. It looks really weird.

Honestly he was not speaking about his significant other, but Patralekha the character being played by his significant other.. Thats the major difference. I dont mind him siding his significant other in whatever she does in real life, but coming out to explain people that Patralekha the character was not harassing a sick man in hospital but showing her care and concern for him was not required. He could have kept quite at that. He does ignores a lot of things anyway, also about his significant other when she posts random craps, he could have avoided this one as well... That was not required at that point of time. Its the issue with his significant other who is too delusional to understand her character..

Baaki I do believe he promotes the show as a whole and Ayesha promotes Sairat along with it ..So they both are catering to the needs.. Its fine and one has to accept that. I think him getting irritated with fans who want Sairat in real life and badmouth Aishwarya is pretty much genuine. Anyone would do it. But that happens with all big actors, specially on TV, all the time and they learn to deal with it. He will also in due course of time.

Just recently Sharad Malhotra's wife got death threats and she handled it with class.. She does not talk about it on daily basis , but handles it really well. Even NM's wife was hated by many.

I agree, just yesterday I pointed out, going by Virat's character his closeness with Patralekha was something not acceptable in that scene. If he was that close to Shivani bua or Karishma , it would not have been questioned...But this is a different equation...

About the whole standing close to each other is concerned.. Fans have pointed out too many times on how Virat and Pakhi are closer to each other in family scenes, even when Sai is on the either side.. Thats quite common in mostly all the episodes, if the scenes are not specifically focussed on them.. There is no point mentioning that offscreen equations do hamper onscreen... at times..

Standing for partner is very good thing but not when they are wrong. U r partner using words like rip, toxic, low life kind of words to fans whom you claims to respect. But u support her in those actions too. Don't think he really corrected her in private. Otherwise she would have changed her behaviour by now. She still speaks ill about sai character, rile up fans wantedly. Sorry to say neil aishwarya thing can't be compared with sairat. Aishwarya antics are disrespectful to fl(sometimes) & fans not to him.

I think its actually director's call..The director needs them to get close. An actor cannot go into that space without being told, since it might appear that he/she is being a leech to the other actor.. The closeness in romantic scenes is completely on the director. My opinion though...Honestly the pinning scene, the almost kiss scene is actually such a let down, considering how during the Virat Pakhi scenes in the same episode, the actors were more close to each other.. Here the actors wont feel/realise the closeness as they are dating.

However the handhold scene and what that happened yesterday..I expect NB as well to improvise it since he understands his character.. Virat would never want to go that close patralekha..NB is a veteran and he improvises his scenes at so many places that expecting him to understand Virat and maintain that distance with Patralekha, when director is not paying attention is not a big deal.

I am not saying that what Asihwarya does is right. I am not saying that Neil is always right either. What I am saying is that Neil is not someone who doesn't appreciate his fans, or Sairat fans, something which that particular story made him out to be. I am just saying that however wrong ahe might be, Aish is still Neil's SO, so he cannot exactly speak against her openly on her posts, and this is not just about SOs, but even other actors don't openly oppose their co-actors.

I do feel sometimes that there are instances where if he don't want to speak against her, then he shouldn't speak in her favour either. But I can't help but think that majority of those posts are quite defensive. We, as audiences, understand that Neil and Aishwarya are different people and they have every right to choose their own partners, but many don't. Fans do get weird and forget the line between reel and real. And I am pretty sure that it did happen with them too. So, we can't really blame them for getting defensive and once or twice agreeing with or speaking something which they shouldn't.

Is it right? No. But is it (sometimes) understandable? In my opinion, yes.

It is & it definitely does. And what is the reason for sairat social distance scenes. Even in today episode when virat taking her to room u can find their 2 feet distance. Just an eg: during the scene where mohit karishma, sairat planning for skit. U can find mohit karishma standing like a couple while in the same frame sairat standing with 4 feet distance.

Yeah he tried his best to keep some distance while blind folding her.. 🤣 Mohit Karishma are fine most of the times.. They are closer in almost all the scenes..
