There have been theories of Pallavi being a victim of sexual harassment before marrying Mandaar here, and the main reason I don't want it is because I don't think this production house can handle it. First, the KHKT example, and then look how insensitively it's been handled on this show? Raghav's MMS. Kirti's scandal. Pallavi's character assassination. Rocky drugging and taking pics of the JJ salesgirl. Sunny drugging Kirti with god knows what intent- probably either another MMS scandal, or rape.

And none of these crimes have had even the hint of consequences- neither have the culprits been held accountable, nor the victim's trauma explored. Nahi dekhna mujhe, their take on something like sexual harassment. Inke bas ka hai hi nahi, to show it with the consideration and sensitivity it deserves.

KHKT stalker thing was the worst I have seen. Everyone went ahead with the ceremony, and sona was gravely injured yaar ! She had bruises on her face. How was anyone’s priority anything other than taking her to a hospital, trying to comfort her or something. Lost all the connection with the show there 😵

The pain , the trauma was missing and that's one of the reasons which people have started comparing these different crimes .

The writers just siphon off the matter the moment they want to move on and poof ! The matter is over . Done and dusted

Let's start new - and talk about selective mentioning - these crimes are mentioned only when they want to shout or fight other times the emotional quotient of these crimes =0

Exactly, the show has been treating all this too lightly. It's not Pallavi underplaying the impact of what Kirti went through, it's the show failing to acknowledge the emotional trauma of such crimes. Sirf Sulochana didn't go unpunished- so did Anjali, so did Raghav, so did Rocky, so did Sunny.

I wonder whether this is the result of no women at the helm of the production house or creative team, leading to a lack of the kind of perspective that women very naturally have to such crimes.

It pissed me that people came down to comparing two crimes , two victims there on that post more than blaming either Raghav or pallavi .

How can two victims be compared ever - then I realised when the show took it so lightly ofcourse this is what is bound it happen right !

They played a romantic song over Rohit helping Sona get dressed up for the ceremony immediately after the incident. She was bleeding, and makeup ho raha tha. There was a discussion, iirc, about what she's going to wear now that her clothes are all ripped up. I mean, gosh. You know, wanna address the reason her clothes are in shreds? Again, I can understand wanting to get her mind off of it in that moment, but to never bring it up again...yikes.
