Rohit started going downhill from that point, and stalker plot was the death blow. Yaar she went through a horrific sexual assault, onscreen, and everyone was just worried about the engagement ceremony that day. Her trauma was never even touched upon. Mujhse woh scene dekha hi nahi gaya tha, it was so graphic, and it was just...ignored? I'd have understood them going through with the ceremony that day to distract Sona had they brought the incident up again, but the way it was handled was so gross.

There have been theories of Pallavi being a victim of sexual harassment before marrying Mandaar here, and the main reason I don't want it is because I don't think this production house can handle it. First, the KHKT example, and then look how insensitively it's been handled on this show? Raghav's MMS. Kirti's scandal. Pallavi's character assassination. Rocky drugging and taking pics of the JJ salesgirl. Sunny drugging Kirti with god knows what intent- probably either another MMS scandal, or rape.

And none of these crimes have had even the hint of consequences- neither have the culprits been held accountable, nor the victim's trauma explored. Nahi dekhna mujhe, their take on something like sexual harassment. Inke bas ka hai hi nahi, to show it with the consideration and sensitivity it deserves.

I agree they can't handle such sensitive topics. Mujhe bhi nhi chahiye aisa kuch. Ek aur insensitive track sehan nhi hoga

This was my actual complain on that post about pallavi as well .

They never showed any further story and perspective at all

The pain , the trauma was missing and that's one of the reasons which people have started comparing these different crimes .

The writers just siphon off the matter the moment they want to move on and poof ! The matter is over . Done and dusted

Let's start new - and talk about selective mentioning - these crimes are mentioned only when they want to shout or fight other times the emotional quotient of these crimes =0

Yup..was watching that show Yeh Hain Chahatein before I left mid way because it was just embarrasing..I would judge my own self for watching such non sense. But that show is doing consistently well on TRP front..2.5 or something..how? Why? One thing is that everyone in that show is presented so well.. not just the leads.. glamorous vamps, beautiful sets even when they shifted to Goa for shoot..they got the best of hotel to shoot. I too watched it. The time I stopped watching it wasn't even near to the regressive content they are showing now, Rusha have just fallen in love at that time. I couldn't handle the stupidity and toxicity at that time. So I was so glad that I didn't stay till it went downhill.

The plot is getting crappier day by day. The way they brought back 2 dead people was just stupid. Tbh I didn't bother to watch any Itv content after that till MHRW.
