Not necessarily. Akshaye Khanna was in magazines prominently since 1995. And in the pic he looks pre-1999 to me.

The "Rekha" scoop was news in 1996. Why would it be on a magazine cover in 1999 or 2000?

Juhi's marriage also happened in 1995. Although it was not widely known at the time. I doubt they would write about it as a cover story in 1999.

Also I don't think Raveena was still talking about Akshay in 1999/2000.

I would narrow it down to late 1995- early 1997.

Saif isn't "beautiful" ... I would call a guy handsome, but not beautiful ... unless I'm being poetic in a medieval way, which is err ... never. I've never been wow-ed by Kareena's "beauty" either.

So that leaves you with Amrita. Not everything has to be a sassy shade, now does it? She looks beautiful in that pic but hideous now and that is terrifying. Not because she's old cuz we all will get there one day but rather cuz there's no telling who will lose their looks and to what extent later down the road. By way of her genes or bad diet or whatever else the case may be, she took a big hit in that sense.

I find Vyjanthimala as THE most beautiful Bollywood actress. When I saw her recent pic, hosh udd gaye! Some age well, some age horridly. Pata nahin apunke naseeb mein kaunsi lottery hai.

Jeeze, she is not hideous. She got older, gained some weight and is a pleasant looking 63 yr old woman.

I don't really know Vajyanthimala but I think Neelam still looks great .... whatever I saw of her in the Fabulous lives of bollywood housewives of losers show. Some people manage to hold on to it, some either don't bother or can't despite trying ... such is life.

On a good day, sure ... but I've seen other pics of her on the net on random occasions and that's what sparked my comments here. I mean, I'm not exactly out to get her and cut her down for looking old ... I was just taken aback by just how mesmerizing she looked in that old magazine.

Hey, there are some obvious age-shaming people around here who go to unbelievable lengths to rip actresses who are still in their 30's or early 40's to shreds for not looking like they're still 21 ... I think the moral indignation should be reserved for those particular sentiments being expressed freely, not here.

I think Amrita Singh ji looks lovely. I'd say she's aged better than Kareena, heck even Saifu. She has a steely beauty about her, as if she's been drinking from the Fountain Of Zereaux Fxx.
