P.S. Sorry i have been MIA all day; was discussing something damaadji did and that took up my free time outside of work

Yaar those scenes will be so heartbreaking to watch but can't wait for all of SaiRat we have to come

I haven't seen KD in too much detail.. only when I want to know what's coming up... why does Virat leave her after Samrat returns?

Yes but the ACTING though will be top notch

Can we talk on PM because we aren't supposed to talk about KD here

I haven't seen KD either but what I know is just from what Anusha told me; plus NB is a fabulous actor unlike granduncle wooden plank in KD

I agree with you about the beginning episodes. Those were something else- some of the best television I have EVER seen. The way the writers developed SaiRat's relationship was truly on another level. Regardless of what others say, I truly believe that SaiRat fell in love with each other the day they met each other. Not the romantic kind of love, but the kind of love that made them feel for each other, care for each other, and understand each other. You could just see it in their eyes from the start. And those moments after marriage in which we saw them pour their hearts out to each other... it was impossible not to feel and cry with them.

I have not seen KD in too much detail, and there is also the language barrier for me, because it is not in Hindi. But from what did understand, SaiRat's relationship does not even come close to comparing to that show's leads. Yes, it's mostly copy-pasted, but those few original moments, and more importantly, the expressions and love and emotions in SaiRat's eyes is wayyyy more than I ever saw in KD.

I get you about the ousting track. I was so disappointed, especially after the "you are my family" scene after the Pulkit kaand. That scene was honestly maybe my favorite scene of this entire show- it is what really sold it to me. The pain in their voices, the love in their eyes... it was just magical. And the next day, when Virat immediately let go of Sai's arm, remembering what he had done. It was simply beautiful. Then, to see that he treated her so poorly yet again, it was really sad. But, again, they showed the redemption so wonderfully. When he talks to the KJ doll, you can really feel his pain and his realization for what he has done. I think what has kept me glued to this show is that both Sai and Virat have their faults. They can be attributed to age, maturity, upbringing, and also just circumstances. But, at the end of the day, they are connected to each other through thick and thin. They always find their way back to each other. There are certainly toxic elements to their relationship, but I believe that every relationship has its faults... it is what you do in response to mistakes that shows your true character.

At this point, Virat has disrespected Sai in unacceptable ways two times. I am worried about how the writers will handle the character assassination and suicide attempt track of KD, mainly because I think that it will completely butcher Virat's character if they choose to blindly copy-paste. The Virat we see today would never even think of hurting Sai so deeply, no matter how impulsive he is. He has developed and fallen in even more love with Sai since the ousting incident.

I guess we will have to just wait and watch to see what happens.

Sorry, had fallen asleep past 2 nights. I had replied to Kiran too a few hours back but couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer to reply to this.

@bold exactly, the ousting coming after I am your family was too much. Also, the way he realised what he did and left her arm. I don’t think they showed the redemption of Virat well. Me and a couple of other forum members haven’t been happy about it to be honest. We had come to agree that this is how much we are going to get. Whatever they did for the hand holding scene, they couldn’t show even 20 percent of that after the ousting is what I personally feel.

Anyway, we have moved forward but I only had one thing always to be able to watch what he does and not fully trust the character after that. I could see some of his character traits, could observe his behavioural pattern, so I has decided to withhold my judgment about the character for sometime, It has been disappointing in a few ways later too, will face to wait and watch. Yes, true, Sai also has flaws. You have put it well, what a person does as a response to their mistakes would show who they are.

Let’s wait and watch as what happens.

I completely understand where you are coming from. I think the true test of his character will be during the upcoming track of insecurity and jealously. Really praying that the makers do not butcher him and SaiRat's relationship by showing character assassination followed by suicide attempt...especially after yesterday's episode. Anyways, like you said- we just have to wait and watch.

Hmm, I don’t think it is just about his jealousy or insecurity. Yes, the upcoming track is important but I would mainly like to watch how much does he get influenced by external factors like his family or Pakhi before he reacts to a situation with regards to Sai. Him calling her characterless could be a character butchering of Virat, but him getting influenced by his family, getting mad on Sai itself would be wrong in many levels and that is where I want him to show some improvements. He couldn’t stand up for her a couple of times and if he now goes against her listening to their words, would make it worse. How do we trust a character who would keep making mistakes and then would come back apologising. The problem I would have with the character is the double standards that he might or is carrying. His expectations from Sai doesn’t match with his own behavior because she has been expected to understand his friendship with Pakhi whereas he couldn’t tolerate her having a friend from opposite gender. I understand his insecurity, but I would want the character to reflect on his own behavior and actions before having such expectations from Sai. The upcoming track is a copy paste but he will anyway remain in his character in one way by feeling insecured about these. In general, we all would give it a thought as if this is not what the other person must also be feeling when we do it. It is this realisation that Virat is lacking to have at the moment, to think about how his friendship with Pakhi could be bothering and affecting Sai too. Some people have too high expectations only from their spouse and we have been noticing Virat too to be having which is why he grows more angry at Sai than anyone else. I really want to see Virat accepting Sai as his family. He could let go of Omi’s mistakes, crimes committed by his family, he protected Pakhi, his friend cum brother’s wife during the confrontation, I would want to see if he can do the same for Sai too when time comes. He should be able to forgive her too for something that she does when he can forgive all these people and only that would show how much he values Sai or loves Sai or whether he sees her too as one of them, as his family. People tend to take their spouse alone for granted, it is this that I don’t want Virat to be doing. So, the upcoming track can be a copy paste but I would like to see the above to come to a conclusion about his character. I can disregard a few things as character butchering but still be able to assess all the above. I hope I could convey what I wanted to. Let’s wait and watch. Let’s hope that the character can be seen as a reliable one in the long future.

I agree with you. I didn't mean to say that it was only about jealously or insecurity. I was just saying that is the track that they will copy-paste that might result in character assassination and suicide attempt. What you have said about the family's influence on Virat when it comes to Sai is really on point. It was really angering to see him stay silent most recently during the family tamasha after Harini's birthday when Sai wanted answers from him. Not only did he refuse to give her answers, but he also didn't say anything when the family was abusing her as usual. But, from his perspective, I also understood him in a way- he was deeply hurt by what Sai was saying to him, because in his mind, the contract marriage means nothing and it is REAL for him. However, he needs to understand the weight of those words on Sai and how difficult this entire Pakhi situation is for her. Anyways, I'm rambling now.

Getting back to Virat staying silent, I believe that their relationship has crossed many milestones in the past few weeks worth of episodes. Virat has stood up for Sai each time she has been insulted by the family. He is slowly falling more and more in love, and he even told Sai yesterday that he will not tolerate her beizzati. I truly do think that the character development we have seen in him recently has been noteworthy and impeccable.

That is why initially said we need to wait and watch. Because the true test of this character will be when Pakhi and the family try to persuade him against Sai. If he listens to him like he did during the ousting drama, it will be really really hard to justify. At this point, Sai has become his entire world. He told her point blank he didn't care about whether Pakhi ate or not after the sari drama. He supported her over the top antics to get the family to her award show without questioning it. He told her himself that he knows she is capable of defending herself but if she ever needs him to step in, he will always be there. So, him listening to what the family has to say and berating her for it will simply be illogical.

I guess what I am trying to say is that this next track will really either make or break his character.

Sorry, had missed this message last night.

Online classes sounds like fun when I hear it from you 😅. But, I do understand how tough it would be too.

Nice to know you went on a few trips and that too with friends. Oh, relocating and furniture shopping are always a pain. Happy moving. Driving always helps. We took trains in Belgium and oh god, it took such a long time to reach a few places. We had to rush before certain places get closed. I remember how we had to travel around 2 hours to visit the Herge museum from Brussels. Have you been there? Like it?

I haven’t been able to travel much in the past few weeks. Did travel last month, but this month it has been raining quite often. Some days end up being sunny even when they would have forecasted rain 😆. I would have decided to relax and make it a sleep day only to realise later it is isn't raining but is quite sunny 🤣. Anyway, the lazy goose in me will win and I end up staying at home 🤣.

No worries 🤗

Yeah online classes are fun but for a limited time only 😆

Thank you! No, I've never visited the Herge museum although his comics made up a big part of my childhood . I did visit the comics museum in Brussels and they did have a section dedicated to Herge, that was fun! Have you visited some other museums over here? We've a chocolate museum 😍and a military museum too

Completely understand that, have been at the same place exactly! I'm a home-lover and travel-lover at the same time 😆 As much as I love travelling, staying home, sleeping, reading a book, watching a movie is equally appealing to me 😆

Where did you travel to? Some exciting places, adventures?
