Honestly this is a great plot point for showing genuine conflict between raghav and pallavi..
raghav is behaving true to his nature.. its not about trusting pallavi i feel.. its just his nature to be over protective towards keerthi however overbearing he comes across.. see he hasnt even spoken to keerthi about this incident and he has tried to clear the mess for her.. their relationship is still at a nascent stage. They dont know each other fully yet.. the fear that she may walk away from him clearly shows that what he is doing aint right to pallavi and that he is fully aware of it..
raghav need to protect his sister right or wrong be damned vs pallavi’s righteousness towards a wrong done to her and her family.. its i think a great recipe for angst, their budding feelings and pull towards each other and clashes of their inherent nature.. they both will discover each other.. which is why i was hoping that like yhm, this will be an interesting phase for them..
It definitely is a great plot point and I am hoping the CVs won't rush too much, that they'll show a proper journey and conclusion in this track.
When I say trust, I don't mean in the sense of confiding in her, I mean more in the sense of having faith that she will understand, that she too is now part of this family and considers the Raos her own. So while hearing the truth about Keerti will be hard, she will also understand what Raghav did 2 years ago and why. Raghav needs to have faith that she will get his perspective and that she will help him find the right way forward.
These two are so used to operating as lone wolves that they need time to consider that their spouse is around to support and guide as required. They don't need to battle it alone.
This matter is so sensitive that they can't even speak to each other about it openly and freely as they do on other matters, but this is exactly the challenge they need to overcome in order to strengthen their relationship.
Just as Amma was saying that they'd need to let Keerti make her own mistakes and learn from them in the matter of Sunny, if she did indeed hit Mandaar that night, then she needs to learn to take responsibility for it. I know Raghav desperately wanted to protect her but was that the right thing to do for her, especially when she wasn't even aware how he secretly "saved" her from punishment?
