Two things I found funny and weird in the Mr. Mehta-Ahaan-Rhea scene:

- Contrary to what Mrs. Mehta said, Mr. Mehta seems not only okay with Rhea's pregnancy but chill enough to actually gang up with his daughter and wife against Ahaan to tabaah and barbaad him😳 I'd initially thought that he'd be upset and reluctant to take part in the planning and plotting, and will eventually give in to save his daughter's reputation but he seems to be enjoying this, going by his evil smile.

- Ahaan telling Rhea "Aisi haalat mein you shouldn't exert yourself, tumhe pata hain na" in front of Mr. Mehta. Matlab Ahaan already metro chalaao-ed in all his sanskaar 😆 but how is Mr. Mehta okay with this guy commenting on Rhea's pregnancy when he's supposedly the father and is married to someone else? Kaafi liberal baap hain Mr. Mehta 😆

I still wonder if he's aware. It would've made sense if he lashed out at Ahaan for impregnating his daughter and then leaving her (like Rachel's father did to Ross). Do you think he's more western than Mr Geller?

It should be either he doesn't even know and is just taking revenge for breaking the wedding, else if he knows abt pregnancy and he knows AVM isn't the father then this is pretty much illogical to even show after already developing a character.

This is what i am also wondering about,does he know or not...if he knows then why is he quiet when ahaan told rhea to take rest..any father would be upset and lash out like you said...he is a confused character or he is just taking revenge for breaking the marriage with rhea like you said

If Ahaan hadn't commented on Rhea's 'condition' (how she shouldn't stress herself out) in front of Mr. Mehta out loud I would have thought that too (I did during the kidnapping incident) but there's no way he doesn't know when that happened. Maybe Mrs. Mehta and Rhea told him that Ahaan is the biological father? That would explain him wanting revenge on Ahaan for ruining his daughter's life. Otherwise it makes no sense whatsoever😆
