IF ka article thoda detailed hai. Here it says 'The show will be focussing on a special kind of mother and daughter relationship'. Its not Maa's remake its a new story. Maa remake hota toh pehli baar mein hi pata chal jaata jaise Imlie, Ghum aur baaki sabke time pata chal gaya thaa. I think the daughter is autistic.

Maa mein toh koi special kind of relationship thaa hi nahi because day 1 se Jhilik kidnapped thi aur usse pehchaanne mein unko sau saal lag gaye and it was totally like Kulfi.
