I started writing my response and was like wait
This is reverse psychology to get Aish praised đ
Oh No is it? I guess I fell into that trap too. đ
I don't understand why fans do this. Kajol not being able to pull off HDDCS wouldn't make her a bad actress.
I mean there are so many Kajol's performances that Aish could never have done (K3G, Dushman, Gupt, Pyar To Hona Hi Tha, )
kajol rejected many high profile movies. veer zara, mohabbatein, kank, hum dil de chuke sanam, 3 idiots. but the movie i wish she would have done is dil se. eventhough manisha koirala was fantastic kajol would have been perfect and it would have become a timeless romantic moie for srk kajol after ddlj.
ohh was there a plan ? but then anybody can play any role better than ham queen ash.
On second thoughs, Kajol might have pulled post-marriage Nandini better than Aish because post-marriage Nandini was a forcefully-wedded, emotionally distant wife.
Considering Ajay was playing the husbandđ, it would've been easier for Kajol to convince us why Nandini gradually gravitated towards her husband.
With Aishwarya, it felt like a complete 180 when she left Sameer in the last few minutes of the film, AFTER all she went through. đđź
Anyways, Nandini's character is iconic and more popular for her pre-marrriage shenanigans, which suited Aish more.
Had it been Kajol or any actress in Aish's place, I am sure those parts would've turned out to be completely different than what we actually saw.
And I'm repeating myself, Aish just looked out of this world in the film which would have been IMPOSSIBLE for any other actress from that time.
Nandani and Paro..when ever anyone says this or that was in mind to play these..i cannot help but đ¤Ł
No one could have played these but Aish..she is a treat to watch in such movies..Her dance in Nimoda and Dola re on another level..if this topic was reverse psychology..it worked brilliantly then..coz Aish may be weak in many of her roles but these 2..she was pitch perfect..no one can even come close whether 20 years back or even today..
Aish looked amazing in the film Kajol lacks grace and poise, she often screeches in movies

God, Dushman was something else. That movie was traumatic đ

I don't agree that Kajol lacks grace and poise. She could have portrayed Nandini differently.
Nice . Aish suited well .
