Fathers share a unique bond with their daughters, which differs from the sons. But despite the differences, the one thing that remains is the unbreakable relationship connected by the heart and soul. Let us explore the varied colours/roles of a father:

The first man in life

A father is the first male a girl encounters in her life. Her ideas about the opposite gender are molded into being by observing him. Her views on men are a direct consequence of her relationship with him. A loving father has a positive outlook on men, makes her feel confident, able to love and trust, commit to serious relationships. Conversely, a distant father who constantly argues and disrespects her mother leads her to assume that all men are the same - disrespectful and authoritative. She easily gets attached to her father as she learns what a man might be, and sees in him what a man ought to be.

The protector

A father conventionally views his wife and daughters to need protection and security, and he ought to provide that for them. This is also the reason they view fathers as judgmental and apprehensive about boys their daughters date; they know how men think, and can occasionally identify the destructive men from the genuinely good ones.

Opposite always attracts

Fathers are more likely to yearn for a son for the experience of raising a boy in their image, they change this preference when a daughter is born. When a girl is born into the family, a father’s attention inadvertently shifts towards her, often making her the center of his universe. Fathers who have experienced parenting both a girl and a boy almost always favor the experience of raising a girl, finding it more fulfilling than that of a boy.

They found fathers to forgive their daughters' blunders more easily than they do their sons'. Yet they are also most hurt when a daughter defies them, since he holds the belief that she can do no wrong.

Girls who don't have a secure attachment with their fathers develop behavioral problems and have difficulty adapting to situations later on in life. As mentioned earlier, an absent father figure, or an emotionally distant dad, can cause a girl to be moreintrovert, with prejudiced views of the opposite sex, and with difficulties in creating lasting bonds with men. D - Devout (earnestly religious)

Papa is pamperer, amenable, possessive and admirable. He always thinks of his family before his own self. He is one who gives all sacrifices for his children. To give his children a better future he compromises with his present.

My Papa has always been an adorable person, a lovely talkative individual. He loves to speak a lot. He constantly keeps on guiding us, all our problems are solved at an instance when told to Papa. He teaches us to work safely, take care of ourself. He is very cool person, World’s coolest Dad!

He’s the searchlight or the light house in the ocean called life. The ever guiding angel. He knows all the answers we may ask, answers them with a lot of patience. His patience is really amazing. Any situation comes in front of him, he faces it with the same cool understanding behaviour. He analysis the situation and then gives the required input.

From him we learn valour, sensibility, being careful, not hurting others, forgetting n forgiving. He not only preaches or teaches us the lessons of life, he shows us how to live life!

The sacrifices that he gives for us can not be repaid by any means. They can only be understood, felt. Anyone can be a father, but not a ‘Dad’. He always gives his children nothing but the best.
