Yeah there was fluctuation in the quality of the writing for this show from the beginning, and now it's gone so terrible it's literally just hate-watch material.
Whether they eat together and all that or not, Anu living in the same house even after divorcing Vanraj is nuts. Like seriously who tf does that!? If Baa-Bapuji didn't want her to leave then they didn't want Anu and Vanraj's divorce or his marriage with Kavya either, but she pushed for both of those things in spite of how they felt about it. Clearly it's not like Anu blindly obeys everything they say anymore, so why exactly is she doing this?
And yeah Anu's relation with Vanraj is so weird now, it's like she took the "beti" thing to seriously and placed herself in the role of our Vee's elder sister or something mentally 😵🤢.
It's so abnormal to carry on living with your ex being friendly with him and all like this, I hate Kavya but for the first time I feel like she has a point- Anu's thought process behind all the things she did is simply not possible to understand for any normal humans (regardless of young/old, modern/traditional, etc) and any sane person seeing all this would say she is secretly still pining after Vanraj and playing some sort of weird/twisted games to get him interested in her again 🤢.
Making the kids an excuse or staying back in this situation is pathetic too, they are all adults or almost adults, (Anu's two sons are married and engaged respectively ffs). Can these men not take care of themselves and their teenaged younger sister? Custody and all that isn't even an issue in the case of these 16-24 year olds.
What an terribly regressive joke this show has turned into. Why is it that these shows claiming to come with some sort of empowerment message always end up this way (while the regular supposedly non-empowering ones are usually never as bad) lol 🤡.
Or if Ba and Bapuji wanted Anupama, and the home to remain intact, they could have asked Vanraj to shift elsewhere. Strange dynamics all around.
And Anupama’s behavior continues to boggle the mind though Bapuji’s sermon on how the world views good people was the writers explaining her bizarre good behavior, I guess.
