Raavi’s Bday brings up a few possibilities:
1. The fact that she lost her parents 10 days after her birth or maybe the same day is heartbreaking. I can’t even imagine how someone feels in such a situation. We learn to celebrate our birthday from our parents. The loss is unimaginable but even more so if it’s associated with ones birth/birthday. Perhaps this might be a tipping point?
2. We initially thought it was Rishimendra’s special day & expected her to make a fuss. But knowing it’s Raavi’s Bday, I wonder if they are trying to recreate childhood moments by making the party appear to be one for a young girl. We might finally get the childhood stories we so badly want (without flashbacks unfortunately).
3. Raavi most likely had expected celebrating this birthday with her husband Dev. It’s so close to the wedding date. This would be an excellent opportunity to revive the Dev-Shiva tension or give a small glimpse of it. What if this year Dev accidentally wishes her first? I’m sure each year Raavi wanted Dev to wish her before anyone else but what happens when he finally does it under the current circumstances? What if Shiva overhears their conversation?
I think the decision of making it Raavi’s birthday has a purpose. The OG showed Rishita’s birthday so they could have easily done the same here & given us the usual drama. If the writers want they can use this opportunity to bring the show back on track. This one event can give rise to so many emotions for Raavi, Shiva and all the other characters.
These are really good points! I hope the writers had a purpose like you say, for deviating from the original and having Raavi's brithday instead of Rishita's
I can't wait to see the ShiVi-Dev angle explored, finally! (if the writers go that way 🤪)

Wow! Those are some tremendous imaginative points. I wish they revive my favourite Dev-Shiva conflict.
I want them to plan a skit related to Shivi and their journey together 🤣
Krish can play Shiva! Rishita can play Raavi 🤣
If you see the dream progression of Raavi, her lucid dreaming regarding Shiva has galloped from him being the devil in her love story to Raavi beating Shiva post-marriage and now this! It represents her different emotions for him.
An impediment
A tormentor
Now, a desire...
The common factor in all the dreams is him being the dominant one teasing her always!
