R - This can’t be happening….

P – What happened Raghav??? U called me right?

R – No… Its not true. U can’t be here. I killed u. I killed u myself.

P – Then how m I standing in front of u.

R – No. This is just a bad dream. This is just a bad dream. Wake up Raghav…. Waaakeee upppp…..

And Raghav got up on his bed. Shouting. Sweating profusely. Trying to check his breath. The nightmare he just saw made him relive his darkest corners. He needed peace. He needed his breath back. And the only part of his darkness which have the light to outshine him out of this was the next word he shouted. Pallavi…. Pallaaavviiiii……

P – What happened Raghav? Y r u shouting?

He saw his beat and the next thing he can do was not the most thought out act but his desperation pushed him nd he pulled her in his embrace.

R – U r not leaving me anytime from now onwards. I just can’t be without u. U r not leavi…

The reality always have a way to strike at most inopportune of times. A misunderstood act. An unholy revenge. A forced marriage and an unexpected relation. Everything hit him and the lack of arms holding him back gave the moment the abrupt end. He pulled back his arms to see a shocked face.

P – Will u care to explain what exactly that was?

R – Sorry. I was just.

P – U just???

R – I forgot.

P – What? U forgot that u forced me or did u forget that I m nd always have been ur prisoner.

R – Its not that and u know it. U know I lo…

P – What??? What I know?

Raghav kept the silence. His gaze saying the essays on what his heart feel but his mouth didn’t dared to utter those words.

P – U were saying something.

R – No. Nothing.

P – Oh… nothing. I thought u were about to say…

R – What m I about to say?

P – That u love me.

His breath took a stop.

Did she really said that? She saw that in my eyes? And if so den does she also?

The barrage of questions was hitting him at light speed and the whole environment seemed unreal.

R – Y u said that?

P – Because I thought that’s what u r about to say. Don’t u love me? I know u do.

She knows. But how? Do she also feel the same?

R – How ??? Sorry Y u think so? Its nothing like that. I don’t feel anything like that.

P – R u sure??? Because u told me that. Or atleast I thought u would.

R – I never told u that. I thought to when u told me. U… U told me u love me. Yes… U told me this.

P – Oh… is that so? When?

R – Before our Kolhapur trip. U told me that u love me. U told me how much u wanted to hate me but u can’t. U told me u saw a future with me and u also told me that u never get ur fairytale ending but u wish… u wish u get it someday.

P – Seems like something I would say. So what happened next Raghav?

R - This can’t be happening….

And Raghav got up on his bed. And he shouted. Pallavi….Pallaaavviiiii……

This is a little confusing especially due to repeat of the last few lines

Correct me if I am wrong, so it is basically Raghav waking up from the dream and experiencing the same conversation he had with Pallavi in his dream?

You have a knack of making Raghav think that he killed Pallavi.

There r subtle points to highlight things inspired by the movie nd thus transitions. It should take couple of reads i guess to really know what is happening nd what is real.

Dream within a dream within a dream! When the dream ends and reality begins is just so confusing!

That was the plan to blur those lines to the point of what is true nd what not. But if u read attentively... its made clear what is what.

I got the concept of Dream within a dream.

But the theme of the OS really interests me.

Sounds something like a Stockholm syndrome. So Pallu feels she is his prisoner but still somewhere falls for him.

Only for him to end up killing her. And the guilt is so strong that he has bad nightmares.

This is the vibe that I got apart from the whole inception thing which was pretty cool.

Idk how many times I read this and it's still a bit hazy inside my head.

So, They went to kolhapur.

Pallavi confessed that she loves him.

She left him or he believes that he killed her or something else happened there.

Hence the nightmares. And a dream inside another dream.

I read that it has inception concept, so here Pallavi has the talent of entering someone's dream here Raghav's. Am I right? 🤔

If I'm wrong, please make it clear for me, my anxiety is triggering here.
