I have read and enjoyed your previous 2 ff. Both of them were amazing works. So I was happy to see your new OS and guess what I loved it.

You always bring a sense of mystery in your work which kinda confuse the readers. That's what I love the most about your write up ❤️.

2. Thanks. There r 3 previous FFs. This had to be OS only but plot seemed tempting enough to invest time as from comments it felt a lot of confusion was there with just OS.

3. I myself get bored with straightforward reads. Thus feels same way for my write too. As I read them multiple times for myself.

4. Almost done. Will post soon.

Chapter 3

Stockholm syndrome... A condition in which hostages develop a psychological bond with their captors during captivity. Yes this makes sense. That is y I feel concerned for Ghamandi Rao even after all the things he has done.

Pallavi thought to herself while reading from her mobile. For past few weeks Pallavi felt unsure with growing bond between her and Raghav. She still remember how he humiliated her and her family with the lies spewed out by him due to his misunderstanding. She was thrown out of the only home she felt like she ever had and even forced to get married to the very same person to save her family.

But things have changed a lot from then. Its true that he forced me to marry him but he never forced anything for all the duration I have been here. And even I feel freer to do anything and be anything not bogged down by expectations of people who called me dere family but believed a stranger over anything I had to say in a heartbeat. And its not like that he didn't tried to rectify his wrongdoings. I had seen guilt in his eyes the day he asked me to return back. The determination to make everything right had not faded from his face and that stupid guy even agreed to baba's ridiculous condition just to give me my family back. I know what he did and the way he did was wrong but it is also true that no matter what.. I never felt unsafe with him. It was always hate but I always felt the unsaid commitment that he will be dere no matter what. Maybe thats y even before all this I fel...

Thoughts have a free flow and the connection it keeps building to make u realize what u have hidden on darkest corners of heart sometimes scares u. Pallavi had that realization. Her stray thoughts were bringing those wishes to forefront which she never let even herself to realize. Her train of thoughts were broken by a voice she has grown habitual to. A smile graced her face.

R - Saree ka dukaan... Saree ka dukaan...

P - What???

R - What... what? Where r my files. I told u not to touch my stuff. It’s very important. I have meeting in an hour and u just misplaced it. U should listen to what I sa....

P - This one?

Pallavi said while taking out the folder from his drawer.

P - And I guess u were the one to put it in dere when I already told u to put it on the table so u can directly see that because Tussad's Rao will melt if he needs to look for anything. And eyes r definitely not one of the things he likes to use with brain being second.

R - This saree ka dukaan needs no reason to become lecture ka dukaan. Monologues and speeches r just stored for use in her inventory.

P - What u said? Lecture ka dukaan. U Ghamandi Rao... This lecture ka dukaan is ur wife so talk to her nicely or else u will face the consequences.

R - Consequences?? I m scared. What will u do??? Throw all ur sarees on me or bore me to death with ur lectures. I know u want this. Or even better I think u will kill me. Yes... u will kill me nd have all the money. And then u can have all that u want without any hold out because of me. U will be free from this life of captivity u choose out of ur nature. U choose to stay because U can't allow even a person like me to...

He stuttered. His voice getting low.

R - But by ur heart u know. U want me to die so that u can have ur freedom. U can liv...

Her tears stopped him in mid sentence. Words hurt and words said with belief and conviction he showed on them made them that more poisonous.

He really believes this???

R - Saree ka dukaan.... what happened? Did I said something? I was just joking. U can lecture me all u want ... no issues. U can have anything. Just stop crying.

Tears gave way to rage. Emotions r so malleable.

P - R u an idiot? U think its a joke. Everything is a joke to u right? Dying is joke to u right. Listen carefully…for first nd the last time… U can't die... get it... U cannot die nd leave m...

A silence creeped in between the two souls nd the room went silent. All the logic and thoughts put in to understand the reason for whatever was their between the two seems to have went on vacation. Words left the horizon and silence stayed to complete the conversation between two pair of eyes. A sigh escaped Raghav and he took the file and moved to window as pallavi kept her gaze. The conversation happening in the silence seemed to be weighing him down more.

I know u have forgiven me. But I can't do this. U lost ur everything because of me. Ur family... ur dignity... ur life. U have accepted this as ur fate but I can't. I will make everything right. I will give u back everything even if its with my last breat...

Bammm.... A gunshot. A drop.

P - Raaghaaavv......

R - Don't get me started again Saree ka dukaan. Its not a jok..

F - Anna... the team visiting for discussion regarding academy will be late due to flight delays. They asked to postpone meeting for tomorrow.

R - No. Ask them to join after arrival.

F - Anna but it will be late.

R - Farhad...

P – Workholic man… Ghamandi Rao.

He maintained his stoic self.

F - Sorry anna... and Sharma has hired ur PA for the week. She will be joining from today.

R - Sure. Ask Sharma to brief her everything before meeting. I don't want any nuisance afterwards.

F - Sure anna.

The conversation was cut short by a knock on the door.

R - Come in.

S - Good Morning Sir.... I m Sarika…

R - Dukaan....???

F – Pal…Pallavi Bhabhi…???

The plot is thickening, as some knots are getting revealed. A nice pace.
