That formula seems to be working for them TRP wise! Most Bengali show remakes, but MHRW I think is a Telugu remake.

And it's not just Sitara Hindi that's doing remakes, even their other regional language channels are happily copying it 😃

Personally, I find it tough to watch a serial if I know it's a frame by frame adaptation of another show, and the plot is openly available on Wiki or elsewhere. Ghum, for instance, is inspired by Kusum Dola, and after reading the whole KD plot on Wiki, my eagerness to watch Ghum (even despite Ayesha looking fantastic in the promos) disappeared 😔

My mumma watches both Imlie and Ghum. But she has already seen Imlle's adaptation Ishti Kutum and Ghum's adaptation Kusum Dola. She said it is interesting to know the story with new cast. She forgot the story of Ishti kutum but she connects with the story of Ghum.

Ishqi had been working at resort for atleast 1 month when she met Ahaan again....not on her very first day

By the time Ishqi again meets Ahaan , she had adjusted well at resort and had developed good relationship with other staff with Manager having special soft corner for her🤭🤭.

Meanwhile Ahaan is tormented again...with his anger , guilt , love for Ishqi. Upar se Jealousy.

Manager helping Ishqi to get another job in another city but Ahaan being Ahaan blocking every favours on Ishqi.

Mayank's arc could have been easily extended to complete week.

Mausaji arc 2-3 episodes.

Ishqi giving silent treatment to Ahaan for atleast 1 week after all reveals...After Rhea's offer she leaves for airport but settles in other city where the Manager had recommended her.

Background mein Rhea-Ahaan ka function etc chalta rahta at normal speed.

Ishqaan Proposal, Rhea ki pregnancy (her cheating after engagement) etc could have been in Mumbai.

Acha khasa Post leap could have been extended by 2-3 weeks before confession and all.

Aur aisa kaun sa resort KE nazaare dikh rahe Hain functions mein....5 minute mein safachat ... function khatam.

Resort se zayda acha to Malhotra house Hain.

Yeah the change was mandatory but what was funny to me is, this is how post-leap epis have been so far:

Post leap epi 1: Ahaan meets Ishqi at the resort (no missed encounters or anything)

Epi 2-3: Ahaan's engagement, Mausaji happily confesses his sins because YOLO😳

Epi 4-5: Mayank comes, gets joota-fied by Ishqi, wants to fulfill his dreams of finally getting some action🤔

Epi 6-8: Ahaan overhears, MU clears up

Ongoing: Ishqaan reunion, band baaja baarat

In IPKKND, the MU+ forced marriage night lasted almost a month if I am not wrong. It was the longest night in the history of ITV, second only to Parvati leaving the house in Kahani ghar ghar ki😆 If Gul could pull that off, this was no big deal for her. We could've had many 'Sir' moments, Rheaan interactions where Rhea turns negative bit by bit instead of this 180 change of character, Sonu struggling to share the truth with Raj for her own reasons and so on. I trust Gul's talents in this hence I'm just surprised😆
